    Considering how famous Will Smith is, it might come as a shock that he only met Michael Jackson once in his life. In a hilarious video, Smith recalled the bizarre way he ran into MJ at the BET Awards. Suge Knight was causing chaos in the building, which led to The Fresh Prince getting whisked away and shoved into a utility closet. Jackson was in there too, and the rest is history.

    Freddie Gibbs Watched MJ Turn Into Colonel Sanders

    Freddie Gibbs is the most famous rapper to ever come out of Gary, Indiana, but Michael Jackson will always be the biggest star the town ever produced. Before Gangsta Gibbs had risen up the rap ranks, he was just another fan watching the King of Pop make a triumphant return to his hometown. During his trip back to Gary, Jackson stopped by a KFC and bought a ridiculous amount of chicken. After the purchase, Gibbs watched as the pop superstar throw the chicken out of his car window to the fans gathered at the local baseball stadium.

    Pharrell and his Neptunes partner Chad Hugo once linked up with Michael Jackson to discuss a possible collaboration. In retelling the story, Skateboard P painted a picture of walking into a lavish trailer with stairs. Soon after MJ arrived, two beautiful women stepped into the trailer. Pharrell watched as Jackson began kissing one of them. “It ain’t like no peck, it’s a situation,” the acclaimed producer said.

    During an appearance on the Drink Champs podcast, Raekwon remembered the time he and Ghostface Killah were graced by Michael Jackson’s presence. The King of Pop had no clue who they were, so they had to introduce themselves. Once the conversation opened up, Ghostface told MJ about sampling his music in a scene that makes Rae laugh to this day. Ghostface then asked if Jackson heard his reworking and got a definitive no in response.

    That Time MJ Tried To End The Game & 50 Cent’s Beef

    There are quite a few tales out there of Michael Jackson calling up rappers out of the blue. Once such call was made to The Game amid his feud with 50 Cent. After telling Game about how much he loved “Hate It Or Love It” and “How We Do,” Jackson broached the topic of the West Coast rhymer’s beef with 50. “I’d like to be the middle man on you guys putting that situation to bed,” he told Game. Plans were soon made for a summit of sorts between Game, 50 and Jackson that would end in a collaboration. Unfortunately, it never came to be.

    1. My mother had the opportunity to meet Mike one on one outside of a clothing store in the late 70s. He was in Philadelphia on tour with his brothers. She was too nervous to approach him and he was without security by his side.

      As for the article….that Ghost remake of “ABC” was FIRE. Mike was sleeping. Ghost should spit over Stranger In Moscow

    2. That Game story is the biggest lie over ever heard in my life. I remember laughing my ass off the first time I heard it. Game couldn’t even keep a straight face while telling that story in an interview. Total fabrication.

    3. It will always amaze me that Prince and Michael never did a song together. They had low key beef against each other for sure.

      1. Wasn’t lowkey tho. Prince has stated his dislike for MJ in a number of interviews. According to Prince, Wesley Snipes’ role in the ‘Bad’ video was originally written for Prince and he felt disrespected. That was the beginning.
