Sometimes Hip Hop can move at a pace too frantic for even the most devoted fan to keep up with. Albums and mixtapes are released at breakneck speed, careers are made and broken with the swipe of a pen, and somewhere in between all the madness actual music (the quality of which vacillates between excellent and god awful) is being made. Twitter provides a nice summary of everything 140 characters at a time. And if you’re the type that would rather not be bothered with stepping into the Twitterverse to catch up on the latest in Hip Hop, we’ve filtered through the top rapper’s tweets and consolidated all the week’s events into one convenient feed.

This week, ScHoolboy Q criticizes his magazine cover, Drake goes undercover for Jimmy Kimmel Live in Hollywood and Outkast finally reunites at Coachella. Check the rest of the week’s top tweets below.

Ab-Soul Confirms New Project

So ScHoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad and SZA have all dropped an album in 2014 and TDE’s CEO Top Dawg said that we’ll be getting six albums this year. Tweet is bond. On Friday, Ab-Soul slyly tweeted that he’s begun working on Long Term 3, which will be the third installment of his Long Term mixtape series. If we’re counting, that makes four projects. We also know that Ab-Soul has Black Lip Pastor coming soon, so that makes five. Top Dawg also confirmed that Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock have albums coming out this year, so that makes, seven? But hey, who’s counting. Keep the music coming.

Fake Drake On Jimmy Kimmel Live

It’s hard to hate on someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously. In a special edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live‘s “Lie Witness News,” Drake dressed in disguise to roam Hollywood Blvd., in front of the Kimmel studio, and ask people what they think about him. He didn’t receive many compliments from the public. Instead, he was hit with the loving term, “chicken head,” and one of the people that he interviewed happily took out his guitar and sang “Drake sucks” with a smile on his face. Aubrey ended up revealing himself to the only fan that was actually a fan at the end of the segment. Poor kid couldn’t remember any of the lines from his “favorite” Drake song, “Trophies.”

ScHoolboy Q To The Source: “Let Me Be Ugly”

Same ol’ photoshop magazine cover story. A beautiful person gets made into a more beautiful person through the help of magical retouching software. In Q’s case, The Source cleaned up his beard to the point where he made a few statements about it on Twitter. “I’m Hot tHa source cleaned my beard up on tHa cover!! Lol let me b ugly cuHz  embrace it!!! Lmao tHanks tHo,” tweeted Q before he tweeted the cover, posted above. I like what he stands for. He just wants the world to see his natural beauty shine.

Fabolous Pays Respect To Ultimate Warrior

The world of professional wrestling world lost a member of their community when Ultimate Warrior passed away earlier this week. A few days after the news, Fabolous took to Twitter to express his condolences for the iconic wrestling figure. The Ultimate Warrior was pronounced dead on Tuesday (April 8) after he collapsed outside an Arizona hotel for unkown causes, according to TMZ.

RiFF RAFF & PETA Are Beefing, Ironically

Uh oh. RiFF RAFF dyed his husky blue and PETA ain’t havin’ it. After a thorough look at his timeline, I don’t think PETA has anything to be upset about because he doesn’t eat hamburgers. Ha, beef. “FOLLOW BACK i AM ALSO AGAiNST ANiMAL CRUELTY OF ALL ANiMALS AND i DONT CONDONE DOG FiGHTiNG, HAMBURGERS OR ANY OF THAT EViL BULLSHYT @peta.” He also assured us, his Twitter audience, that he rocks Jody Husky to sleep like a baby bison. No beef in that vegan blue dye, PETA. Rest assured.

Tyler, The Creator, Pharrell’s Biggest Fan

It doesn’t matter how famous you might be or how equally talented the person you admire may think you are. When you’re a fan, you’re a fan. Tyler, The Creator has been a big fan of Pharrell since before Odd Future blew up. Sure, now he probably has his number in his phone but that doesn’t mean you can’t fan out during your favorite musician’s performance (even if you are collaborators). In the words of Tyler, “ITS NOTHIN.”

Nas Stops By Marvel Entertainment

I didn’t even know rappers casually stopped by the comic entertainment empire, much less a seasoned rapper like Nas. Nas has been making his rounds to talk about the 20th anniversary of his debut album, Illmatic. He’s’ releasing Illmatic XX on April 15, which features remastered tracks, rare B-sides and bonus remixes. Also in conjunction with Illmatic, a documentary, exploring the legacy of the album, will be released titled Time Is Illmatic on April 16. Watch the documentary trailer here.

Big Boi Thanks Coachella Audience

The biggest moment for Hip Hop fans this week was seeing Outkast reunite at Coachella (check the full set here). As fans sat through or stood through, depending on where you were at the moment, one and a half hours of hits after hits and oldies but goodies, the performance was met with mixed reviews. While Big Boi still had adrenaline pumping through his veins, he thanked the Coachella crowd and viewers from home.

Killer Mike And Outkast Past Coachella Curfew

At the end of Outkast’s Coachella performance, Killer Mike joined the stage to close the show with “The Whole World” but the duo’s curfew seemed to be up and the concert ended abruptly. Killer Mike joined to sing the first part of the hook and after a few seconds, walked off the stage. Of course, it caused a twitter wave of comments criticizing the duo for choosing to bring out certain guests over others. The guest lineup included Sleepy Brown, Future, Janelle Monae and Killer Mike (if he’s allowed credit for his quick second on stage). There’s always weekend two.

Sean Falyon Praises Outkast

The Philly native was obviously tired of seeing all the negative tweets on his timeline after Outkast’s first lackluster (at least the final tracks were) performance. He wasn’t the only one defending the legendary Atlanta duo but he did share a personal note about the group. In a tweet after this one, he wrote, “The shit Outkast records got me through can never be tampered with. The fact that I know @BigBoi personally is still mind boggling….” After all, Outkast is better than NO Outkast, right?
