Boosie Badazz Says B.G. Will Be Home In Next Few Months: ‘I Talk To Him Every Day’

Boosie Badazz has revealed he talks to B.G. nearly every day and promised that the Hot Boys rapper will finally be released from prison this year.

The Baton Rouge native recently sat down with VladTV, where he claimed B.G. will be home in the next few months.

“I’m talking to him every day now,” Boosie said. “I got the email now. I got the email set up on my phone so I can email him.

“[He doesn’t have] an actual release date, but he sure he should be home in like three, four months. They already went to the [halfway] house and checked the house where he’s coming to.”

In the meantime, though, Boosie said B.G. has been asking him for a few favors to ensure he arrives home to a warm reception.

“He got a few bitches he want,” he added. “He got a few celebrity crushes he want me to slide in their DM and tell ’em. I’m like, ‘Bruh, you gon’ have me in all kinda shit!’ ‘I want her, tell that bitch she for me.’ Bruh, this n-gga here.”

The “Wipe Me Down” rapper also revealed that he spent his final two weeks of freedom with B.G. by his side before he was sentenced in 2009 for gun and drug charges.

The Cash Money rhymer was eventually sentenced to 14 years in federal prison on illegal gun possession and witness tampering charges stemming from a 2009 traffic stop arrest.

“I just can’t wait ’til he come home. I wanna see him with his momma — his people done really miss him,” Boosie added. “It ain’t about nothing else with me but seeing him happy. ‘Cause I been here for him always, I been here for him his whole ride because he told me he was gon’ be here for me my whole ride.

“Before I went in, B.G. spent my whole last two weeks with me. He spent my last two weeks with me. He ain’t know he was going in. I went and he ended up going while I was in. He told me, ‘I’ma be here every step of the way.'”

Birdman also provided an update on B.G’s situation earlier this month. The Louisiana rapper’s initial release date was scheduled for April 2024, but according to his former label boss, he’ll “be home in a minute.”
