    1. Fitting content for a 40+ year old guy with a masters. It’s almost like he makes music for young audiences with horrible intentions and messaging. I’d imagine that he’s not selling drugs. It’s unf

      1. So an artist can’t create art? Whatever that interpretation means to you. If you don’t like it don’t support it, simple, but everyone feels the need to put their personal opinion out there like it’s rule. Young audience’s have access to almost anything online now, it’s up to the parents to monitor. It’s not up to artist to have to censor their work to appeal to the masses.

        1. I think artists are able to create art and you’re able to give your opinion just as I am. I know we live in a world where if you disagree with something you keep it to yourself but that’s not really working out. Furthermore I’ve worked with kids of all ages for many years and speak from experience. Just my opinion. I’m not looking for anyone to agree.

      2. I know you guys look at this is hypocrisy, but they hood sold this sound and era of music to a vast audience, and we ate it up like Lil Debbie cakes. And he was a true part of this era. Although he did attend college and all that, he lived the street life also, and he’s not wanting people to forget that, but at the same time, he’s ready to show the world a new, improved self, that is moving away from the negativity. But to a lot of us consumers, it appears that he’s only doing this to stay relevant, well, he may be, but he’s trying to move away from it, but what do you do when your audience no longer wants to hear you because you’ve steered away from negativity? Time to fix the audience, keep shoving something different down their throat until they accept it. Basically speaking, this is a very complex issue today.

        1. I totally feel him making music to satisfy his audience however it’s to the detriment of that same audience. He and most popular rappers reinforce stereotypes and messaging that is harmful. Also I’d like variety. Any persons life is like a kollage of experiences. It’s not just selling drugs or partying or having sex. I’d like to see that reflected in the music because that’s what life is like. I look at an artist like Benny. I’m sure there are more layers to him than coke. So when do we hear about that? Totally see your side of the argument though. Peace
