Famous Dex Gives Fans A Health Update Inside Rehab Courtesy Of Rich The Kid

    Famous Dex and Rich The Kid’s friendship only grew after the “New Freezer” rapper made sure Dex was checked into rehab after fans noticed his appearance declining and feared for the worst. In a recent video shared to Instagram, the Chicago rapper sounds refreshed and enlightened while refocusing his life and health.

    On Thursday (January 7), Rich took to his Instagram stories to share a video of his conversation with Dex from rehab. Giving fans a proper update on his condition, Dex sounds thankful for life.

    “I learned so much these 22 days like, I learned so much bro,” Dex says in the clip.

    Rich helped check Dex into rehab on December 20 for unspecified reasons after numerous photos shared on Instagram raised an alarm for fans as well as Dex’s peers such as NLE Choppa. Choppa set his sights on Dex’s label home of 300 Entertainment for not supporting him as he visibly was battling issues.

    “I’ve never been the type to be in folks business but @300 y’all see @FamousDex obviously on drugs too heavy,” NLE wrote on Twitter on November 27. “Can y’all at least try surrounding that man around somebody with his best interest. Help dude out, or somebody who already is in his ear uplift dude he NEEDING it.”

    Dex was thankful for NLE’s support in November, thanking him and highlighting how his fellow Warner Music artist had an interest in his health. However, he was dismissive of needing all the focus on him as there were far more people across the world battling substance abuse.

    “He cares. At least somebody cares,” Dex said in regards to NLE’s plea. “He didn’t say anything wrong. At least somebody cares and shit and I really appreciated the love and support, but the world on drugs and I look mighty damn fine.”

    1. Not a fan of this dudes “music” at all, but I hope he can turn his life around in terms of addiction. The real test is when he gets back out of rehab. That’s one of the worst things about opiates, the chance to relapse is so much damn higher. Hope he really has seen the light and stays sober
