50 Cent Would Rather Instagram Battle Snoop Dogg Than Ja Rule

50 Cent and Ja Rule are likely never going to agree on anything, including an Instagram Live battle. But, 50 did offer a suggestion of who he should battle instead — Snoop Dogg.

Speaking with Big Boy on Big Boy’s Neighborhood, the For Life creator broke it down to one simple factor: catalog.

“It would make more sense catalog wise, me and Snoop. Cause we could compete every step of the way,” 50 told Big Boy. He continued by analyzing Ja’s catalogue.

“Ja Rule? He got like five, six good duets. The hit records are all him and Jennifer Lopez, him and Mary J. Blige, him and Ashanti. Him and … a woman, a female. All the records. He got one hit song by himself, ‘Holla Holla.'”

50, never one to miss an opportunity to clown his adversary, also joked in addition to most of Ja’s songs being features with women, they also belonged to someone else.

“They’re all doable records but they’re someone else’s,” he said. “Stevie Wonder, ‘Do I Do’!” a reference to Ja’s 2001 hit, “Livin’ It Up” featuring the very male Case.

The latest instalment of Ja versus 50 dates back a few weeks ago when the “Clap Back” rapper suggested that the two foes jump on Instagram Live to go catalog for catalog. Ja even told Fat Joe he would “behave” during such a battle but has since changed his stance in subsequent interviews and comments.

50 Cent & Ja Rule Will Never Instagram Battle, So Here's A Simulation Of How Things Would Go

“I don’t know if me and him can do that,” Ja told Hot 97’s Ebro Darden. “I don’t know if that would work. Just for respect of the culture. I would never want to disrespect the culture and let me and his little thing get into the love and respect of what Verzuz has brought to the culture, for each other’s catalog and the artistry. I would never want to tarnish that.”

Ja Rule recently commented on 50’s statements saying that Snoop is “outta 50’s league.”  Whether either of these battles happen or not, fans can expect the online back-and-forth between 50 and Ja to continue.

        1. Congratulations, you just won a new retarded car…fif against jim? Are you serious?…nelly maybe, they talking about hits man, hits

            1. All you above need to grow up. You all must be kids.

              Knowledge Reins Supreme

            2. Ha ha! Knowledge “reins” supreme! What a doofus! Learn to spell if you wanna call some kids out!

      1. Eh… They suck though lol. Aside from Doggystyle, snoops hits suck. Like That’s That Shit? Not good. Drop it like it’s hot? Not good. I wanna rock? NOT GOOD!

    1. 50 knows he would lose against ja rule. He needs to stop talking about it since he won’t do it cus he shook. Keep cryin over murals fiddy

    2. Snoopy joints on DeathRow were the shit. After that he was trash. He had a mystic on DR
      Eat A Dick.StreetLife.IfTheresACureForThis.Zoom.TheUntouchables.FunkWitYaBrain.
Those songs ain’t even come out and they shit on 50 whole catalog.
      Rule and 50 a closer battle ??????

    3. The tracks off of just GRODT or The Massacre alone would beat everything from Ja’s entire career. It is a stupid matchup only getting hype because of their old beef. Fif vs Snoop, on the other hand, would be dope. I think people forget how deep Snoop’s catalog is though… he is one of the most consistent to ever do it with 3 decades of albums and hits. If the matchup was only 5 songs, Fif would probably win it. I would have Snoop at 10 songs or longer though, even if Fif could use features and G-Unit tracks.

    4. You’re damn right Ja Rule’s hits are mainly duets with females. Curtis has always been on his savage mode when it came to Jeffrey Atkins but he was never wrong about him either. Jeffrey’s music has no replay value. Only teenage girls from the 90’s would replay his music because he had Ashanti, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Milian etc as features on it. Jeffrey introduced pop music to the hip-hop culture when he decided to feature every R&B artists in the game back then. That’s when hip-hop started to sound like a joke. We went from Mobb Deep, Nas, the Wu-Tang, DMX, etc to mothafuckin pop music thanks to Jeffrey. Kudos to Curtis for ending Jeffrey’s career.

      1. I agree with most of this. Ja’s 1st album is actually still very playable. Let’s Ride, Race Against Time, and Only Begotten Son still go ham. Not sure why Ja went down such a horrible pop lane – he shoulda kept copying DMX especially with all the problems the X-man had after his first 3 albums. But Curtis certainly washed Jeff. First rapper I can remember legitimately ending another man’s career in his prime.

      2. Shut up dude. There’s a time and place for the hip pop. Sure, it doesn’t go hard, but does all hip hop need to go hard? No. You’re sat there acting like 50 Cent didn’t sell out and become a pop star himself. Don’t sit there acting like when you first started discovering hip hop as a genre it wasn’t the pop chart hits from different artists that made you explore the culture more. Because you’d be lying if you said otherwise. Ja Rule had some catchy, listenable music. Nothing wrong with that!

        1. I discover hip-hop with Dre’s Nothin But a G Thang and 2pac’s California Love. Than I heard Nas If I Ruled The World feat. Lauryn Hill and Jay’s Can’t Knock The Hustle feat. Mary J. Although these hit records were can considered as hit records that can be played on the radio and shown on MTV, there was some kind of a street vibe in it. Ja Rule’s hit records with Ashanti, Christina Milian, Jennifer Lopez etc had nothin to compare quality speaking. Jeffrey Atkin’s records were only played by teenage girls back in high school. Maybe you like these corny ass records but I always thought of them like fruity ass records. Just because YOU discovered hip hop through Jeffrey Atkin’s corny ass catalogue doesn’t mean everyone else did it too. FOH with your beater argument cause you caught feelings over some criticism made on one of your favorite rapper. Nobody cares. Get out my lane sucker.

          1. “I’m too street for a pop crossover with a sun hook!”. Dude – you’re an idiot. The songs you listed are classics, but that doesn’t deny the fact there’s a time and a place for corny singalong tracks too. Get the hell out of here with your fake masculinity. You’re fooling nobody.
