Prior to the release of the “Middle Child” video, J. Cole hopped on YouTube for a live Q&A session on Monday (February 25). When Cole was asked when the Revenge of the Dreamers III compilation will arrive, the Dreamville boss replied back with a month for the release date.
“ROTD is being finished right now, post-production shit,” he wrote. “Tracking out songs, sequencing then editing, then we gotta mix. We’re shooting for April.”
While details surrounding the project are scarce, Cole did reveal over 106 artists were invited to a 10-day recording session in Atlanta from January 6 to 16.
Rick Ross, T.I., Big K.R.I.T., Westside Gunn, Ski Mask The Slump God, Wale, Tay Keith, fellow Dreamville artist J.I.D, producers T-Minus, No I.D., Swizz Beatz and 9th Wonder were among those invited to the session.
Until the compilation arrives, revisit “Middle Child” below.

“It was all uh dream”.RIP BIG.
ROTD3 is one of the albums on my personal must have list, I just hope with all these features it’s message won’t be distorted form what we all know dreamville and thw ROTD title to be, as for now I can only wait and see, but big ups to dreamville for keeping the soul in the music even with all these cultural changes.
Vince Staples on that too ?
