Who Is Dr. Dre Making Beats For In Hawaii?

Grammy nominated producer Dem Jointz took to Instagram on Sunday (August 20) to share a video of himself and Dr. Dre on a private jet headed for Hawaii. Steely Dan’s “Black Cow” can be heard blasting over the speakers as Dem takes footage of Honolulu.

The caption reads, “Back N #Hawaii Was Just Here 2 Months Ago. #Workin #AfterMath #UMadeUsWhatWeAre #LetsGo,” alluding to a project in the works.

The Aftermath Entertainment mastermind and his fellow Compton producer have worked together numerous times in the past. In 2015, they teamed up for four tracks on the Compton soundtrack, and have co-produced music in the past for acts like Anderson .Paak, Kendrick Lamar and Ice Cube.

For now, it’s unclear what exactly is going down in Hawaii, but Dr. Dre is reportedly working on Eminem’s upcoming new album, which The Defiant One’s director Allen Hughes said was in its “11th hour.”

    1. Dre needs to do another steroid cycle. Dude just looks like an old fart now, just like Russell Simmons gay lookin ass

    2. Dre Is no longer relevant in music. When Eminem came out of rehab Dre produced almost the whole album. Em worst sell in history. I don’t think Compton went platinum. He out of touch with today music. They put Kendrink whit dre cus he don’t sell records but em. Kendrick represent the the only time you see him with dre is when he cross promoting and need that young market. Every song dre rap on his straight bullshit!

    3. Dr.dre is finnished. He will never produce entire album again. His career ended basically with doggystyle. Also, Eminem’s career is over too. His music is just pop garbage for the billboard charts. It’s time to retire boys.

    4. All you young bums on here talkin out ya ass. Dre is a fuckin legend in the game. I won’t bother reviewing his history cuz you clowns probably listen to Migos and shit. He’s at the point in his career where he actually has the choice whether or not he wants to produce. He’s one of the best producers of all time and now he can sit back and enjoy the fruits of his labor. Dumb asses!

      1. Says someone who clearly never took KRS’s lessons to heart. Dre is industry trash that helped pollute the minds of our youth.

    5. lol see dre is finished?
You kids don’t even know real hip hop or real music if your talking crazy about dre.
You new era kids are clowns.

    6. When was the last time Dre did a beat that was on fire, after all the producer he screwed out of credits not messing with him he haven done anything to prove all of them saying he never did a beat on his own

    7. People talking about Dre using ghost writers probably never read the 48laws of power. Most great people have real architects behind their works. That’s smartness. Now you know Dre and he’s rich and you don’t know half of the producers he probably used.

    8. Dre even though he out of the picture , he made everybody step their game up with producing

and if you look at producing talent now …………………

there isnt a dre level type a guy out there & tbh hiphop actually neeeds one

    9. yeah mothafucka thats right yall better change it to the tidal stream link since i called y’all out for being shitty journalists. Good luck paying off that student loan.
