Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble.” Sparks More Rumors Of Big Sean Beef

Following the release of “The Heart Part 4” last week, allegations of Kendrick Lamar dissing Big Sean became the top water cooler discussion.

With the release of the single and video accompaniment to “Humble.” Thursday (March 30), the conversation of a feud between the two rappers continues.

According to the internet, King Kendrick reinforces the allusions of beef with the use of the “lil bitch” ad-lib over the chorus.

Some pointed to “If I kill a nigga, it wont be the Alcohol, I’m the realest nigga after all” as another line pointing toward their conflict as a possible shot toward Twenty88 with Sean’s current romantic interest Jhené Aiko.

Yeah, that much of a reach.

Either way, fans seems ready for the battle to pick up steam.

So far, Top Dawg Entertainment head Dave Free had this to say about the single.

Possibly a reference to Big Sean’s “No Interviews?”

So far, there isn’t much word on whether April 7 (the date given to us on “The Heart Part 4”) means a new album or another single. However, a recent Snapchat post and caption from TDE’s own ScHoolboy Q says something is on the way.

“WHen you got da wHole album and can finally put yo jam on snapcHat,” it read.

    1. It’ll be good to see them go at it with the bars but I just can’t see Sean going that far as to making a diss. He’s just too positive. It would be a great opportunity to show the world how hard he can go with the bars though. Kendrick is a beast as well but we’ve never heard a diss record from him either so that would be interesting. This could go either way. Drake won the battle with Meek but didn’t end Meek’s career like people expected. This would be good for hip hop just keep it on wax.

    2. “I let my soul speak, you let the meds talk.”
That line is about 94% of all the rappers in the game.

    3. I like Big Sean he has good lyrics & a nice flow. He’s been salty ever since Kendrick snatched his shine on the song “Control”. Ever since that Sean go hard af when he on track with another rapper. He has also been taking little shots at K.dot too. A battle between the two of them would be dope. But Kendrick will eat Sean food if it comes to a all out battle. And keep drake out of this. This is way out of his or his writers league.

      1. You can get butthurt all you want but Drake raps better than these clowns & he is way outta their league. The mere fact that you had to mention his name here says it all really.

        1. Drake doesn’t rap better. He sings better. Hell, you might even argue he “entertains” better (remember, that boi an actor). And if neither kendrick nor sean have ever had serious/legitimate run-ins w the whole ghostwriter allegations poppin up w fans and the industry bout Drake, AND kendrick n sean drop albums w little features and writing credits, its safe to say that they are actually NOT in drakes league. Why? Drake is Starbury in China. Them boys is LeBron n Durant. Now sit yo $5 ass down before i make change n buy you a pair of starburys so you can feel the shame of your dumb ass opinion.

    4. I love the clever subliminals that you have to dissect that’s what the game was built on HOV and Nas did it for years .. keep selling the tickets to the fight!

    5. THAT THE BEST U CAN SAY MR-I’M-HERE-TO-CORRECT-YA-SPELLINGS…fyi that was a long text so had to keep the spellings short…hope u noticed i spelled correctly sir..hope i dont get detention more or less whipped

    6. Kendricks own fans don’t know him…kings do not go at merchants…merchants may go at kings and most of the time get slaughtered (see drake vs meek)

    7. And once again black people getting riled up about another black rapper dissing another black rapper.. seems like black race are always attracted to negativity is why black people stay down smh

        1. But somehow we love screaming “stop the violence” and “black lives matter” when that “competitiveness” becomes another Tupac and Biggie. Fuck that homeboy made a good point. It’s no agenda, it’s just how our ignorant asses are.

          1. No matter if there may be validity, it’s the connotations behind the words buddy said that make the whole of his statement done in bad taste. Just sayin

    8. Another forgettable actual song by Kendrick Lamar. Make music dude that people can listen to 5 years from now, actual songs. Real music, not this bullshit.

      1. so which songs today will you be playing 5 years from now if it ain’t kendrick? i’d love to hear this..

        1. Why do people like you always assume there is someone else when you diss this wack shit the so called best do? Fact is that this shit won’t be bumped in 5 years, which is all I care about. Make good songs…music, the shit we’re supposed to all be here for, not being about that oooh, he went at so and so’s head, so I like it.

            1. And you’re still in compare and contrast mode when we’re talking about this song by Kendrick Lamar. When I heard Hit Em Up, Ether, The Bitch In You, Put Your Hands Up, the Beanie freestyle response on the same beat, Fuck with Dre Day, or Real Mothaphuckin Gs, I didn’t say well, I wonder who else’s song is better. I liked their shit and would still bump it today because they were hot songs. All I give a shit about because these people aren’t my family members or personal friends, something a lot of you so called hip hop fans have lost your way on and why the music has been sucking so bad as you don’t hold these mofos to a higher standard.

    9. I remember back when beefs involved the part where they mentioned who the heck they were dissing in that song. SMH fans just tryna start something

    10. Cold War is a terminology that hiphopdx are trying to coin. SMH. Now, do what y’all do best and delete this comment.

    11. If this turns into a real beef with multiple songs between Big Sean and Kendrick, it could be the downfall of the bullshit we hear constantly. Two rappers that actually have bars and actually have a fanbase, it could expose ppl to real hip hop instead of the same half singing, half talking on the same half assed beats. But until names are named in the track, I can’t get too excited. j.cole tried this shit last year and his album was just above average so now I’m worried that Kendricks album might be wack.

        1. Big Sean has punch lines which makes him ideal for battling. Not saying he’s the greatest because Kendrick is better overall but in a world where it’s about dissing the other guy, I wouldn’t count out Big Sean just yet. Whenever he’s featured on a song he either has the best verse or one matching the quality of everyone else on the track. He’s mad underrated, and you sir are proof of that. Side note, Kendrick’s control verse wasn’t that great, I remember an era where that shit would be laughed at but i guess it was hard compared to the Mickey mouse rap of today

    12. I dont give a fuck ..that new krayzie and bizzy bone album is coming soon..the new single out already..no one flipping like bizzy ..its fire for realz…grown ghetto gospel music..fuck all that wanna be but cant be (coming home ft stephen marley

    13. y’all gon watch me do that shit but my niqqa schoolboy’s gonna be what i need him to be to me. go and post some dirty shit ’bout me on instagram @angelo17 i ‘ont care bitch imma be humble and sit down but when the right time comes Imma get up and kill a niqqa. dot out. bitch sit down. be humble””i witchu hommie.
