HipHopDX Premiere: Ace Hood has been staying busy since kicking off his career in 2007. He dropped his last mixtape,Trust The Process, in 2017 and now, the Florida rapper is back with a new lyric video for “Uber.”
The track serves as the lead single from Ace’s forthcoming full-length effort, which is expected to arrive in April. The project is the follow-up to 2013’s Trials & Tribulations.
“The concept behind the record is that all types of things in life can be experienced in a Uber,” Hood explained to HipHopDX. “Good times, bad times, secrets … everything. Think Taxi Cab Confessions for the trap. You feel me? It’s a fun, lighthearted record but still hard at its core. That’s what I represent. It’s an experience.”
