The inimitable Beyoncé has joined Colombian reggaeton singer J Balvin and French producer Willy William for a spicy remix of “Mi Gente.” The subsequent video features cameos from Cristiano Ronaldo, Martin Garrix and Diplo, among others.
Addressing the collaboration, Beyoncé wrote on her website, “I am donating my proceeds from this song to hurricane and earthquake relief charities for Puerto Rico, Mexico and other affected Caribbean islands,” while leading fans to her BeyGOOD Foundation page.
“Mi Gente” is a remix of William’s “Voodoo Song,” which was released over the summer.
