DJ Spinna remixes the soulful vocals of Hiatus Kaiyote into an electro-centric “Galactic Soul Remix.”The updated version has a house feel – poppy synths and clean, shuffling drums – whereas the original is jazzier and folkier. DJ Spinna is second in line though, as Chance The Rapper and his camp sampled “Fingerprints” off of that same project. Hiatus Kaiyote recently performed the “By Fire” and“Breathing Underwater” cuts, off of the Choose Your Weapon masterpiece of an album, on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
