Trey Songz passed through his home turf as part of his ongoing tour and even brought out fellow Virginia natives Clipse during his show.

On Saturday (March 16), the R&B crooner from Peterburg, VA welcomed the duo on stage for a surprise performance of their classic single “Grindin.'”

The coke-rap kingpins aren’t the only artists who performed the aforementioned hit single recently.

Justin Timberlake celebrated his 43rd birthday with a free performance at Irving Plaza in the heart of New York City, during which he performed a Hip Hop-flavored rendition of “Summer Love,” replacing the original instrumental with the beat of the 2002 Clipse blockbuster.

No Malice and King Push have also been candid about other artists they’d like to rock the stage with.

During in interview with GOAT Mag last year, the siblings talked to their manager Steven Victor about which artists they would and wouldn’t work with.

“As far as Hip Hop goes, the highwater mark is always collaborating with JAY-Z, so I would like that,” No Malice began. “Outside of Hip Hop, I would like to see Clipse with artists like Coldplay and The Killers, with big arena records, festivals, something that moves globally.”

Push felt, however, felt differently.

“Man. I don’t know. I’m collab’d out,” he said. “I don’t even care about collaborations if it’s not among a great body of work. I’m into cohesive, great bodies of work. I feel like, in these times, with everybody feeling so fly-by-night, that’s the only thing that’s keeping this genre alive.”

The “Diet Coke” hitmaker has also been expanding other skills of late as he recently traded his mic for a deck and four wheels. Earlier this month, the MC was filmed trying to improve his skateboarding with assistance from Tyshawn Jones.

The professional skateboarder took to his Instagram Stories to show fans and followers that he linked up with the veteran MC, who could be seen attempting an ollie.

“@kingpush knows how to ollie, @stevenvictor tighten up,” he captioned the video clip, showcasing the 46-year-old’s wobbly-yet-proud execution of the move.

The duo joining forces came as no surprise considering they are both sponsored by adidas.
