Logic has come under fire after an independent artist named Maha Sattva accused him of refusing to pay for artwork he’d commissioned from him.

In a series of posts made on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday (February 6), Sattva claimed that Logic commissioned his work seven years ago, then never paid him any of the promised funds.

“OKAY BITCH YOURE A MILLIONAIRE BUT YOU STOLE 7 paintings from me,” Sattva wrote. “Pay me for them. I’m not asking for a handout, you fucking owe me for them.”

Sattva then posted screenshots of the proof he’d had about the alleged “stiffing,” which you can check out from his Instagram page below.

While Logic appears to be showing love to Sattva in various social media comments, as promised, there doesn’t seem to be any evidence of a promise to exchange money for the artwork.

Additionally, it appears that Sattva’s paintings were created as “fan art” for Logic, as there’s no evidence that the rapper actually commissioned the pieces.

The lashing from the visual artist comes after the rapper tearfully confronted his father, Robert Bryson Hall Sr. on the latest episode of his podcast Logically Speaking, wherein he got very emotional during the conversation.

Addressing his father’s past crack addiction, Logic said while sobbing: “There’s a part of me that has grown and developed mentally, but there is still that little boy that’s still waiting on the curb for his dad.”

He added: “I waited every weekend and you never showed up. You always said that you would […] I look at my son and I think how much my son means to me. I’m a man of my word today because you aren’t.

“I want you to know that it really hurt [and] I just want to ask: what is it like as a man who used a substance that would allow you to make that little boy wait forever? Was it worth it?”

His father replied: “It felt like being in Hell. It felt like having something control me. Like Rick James said, cocaine’s a Hell of a drug. I was young, self-centered and stupid as fuck, but if I knew then what I knew now, my life would probably be different.”

Elsewhere during the conversation, which was dedicated to their relationship and Logic’s father’s attempts to get sober, the Under Pressure MC teased releasing music with his dad.
