Dave East isn’t letting Kanye West’s polarizing politics deter him from supporting Ye’s fashion empire. In a video posted recently on social media, East unboxed a pair of the brand new Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Static sneakers while sharing his thoughts on the Kanye’s affection for Donald Trump.
“Niggas say what they want about Kanye, the nigga ain’t my best friend,” East said. “I don’t really give a fuck what he do as far as the mothafuckin’ Trump shit go. But as far as the nigga’s sneakers? Nigga’s sneakers is fire. I don’t care who says they not.”
The Def Jam MC is unbothered by Kanye’s infamous support of Trump, which has continued into the new year. Ye recently reaffirmed his love for Trump and “Make America Great Again” hats on Tuesday (January 1).
