Sacramento-based rapper OMB Peezy is currently behind bars, according to his manager Kenneth Swanson.
“Confirmed,” Swanson told HipHopDX when asked if Peezy was in jail. “I’m ready for my dawg to come home.”
Peezy was arrested on unknown charges and it’s unclear when exactly he was taken into custody. But on (Monday) May 7, it appeared someone had taken over Peezy’s Twitter account and left behind a flurry of “#FREEPEEZY” posts.

Since then, several of his fans have kept the #FREEPEEZY hashtag in rotation.

The Sick Wid It signee announced the title of his next album, Loyalty Over Love, earlier this week and shared the inaugural single from the project, “Soulja Life Mentality,” which addresses systemic injustice and police brutality.
