Pusha T Begins "King Push" Album With The Neptunes

Pusha T posts images of Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams, who are reportedly helping the Clipse rapper craft his next album.

Pusha T has released photographs of The Neptunes in the studio.

This hints at a new album by Pusha T, reportedly titled King Push, which is set to be produced at least in part by the production team.

In December, Pusha T spoke about the project.

"I don't know when I'm dropping the next one, but I can tell everybody January 2, me, Chad [Hugo]and Pharrell are going in the studio for 20 days," Pusha T recently said in an interview with Miss Info. "That's what's going to start off the King Push album....The title is definitely King Push."

Living up to the December statement, Pusha T has released the images below via Twitter.

The Neptunes have been heavily involved in Pusha T's career. They worked extensively on Clipse's albums, 2002's Lord Willin', 2006's Hell Hath No Fury and 2009's Til the Casket Drops.

Pusha T IS DONE..he spent two years working on this album then 6 months before it was about to drop he says he has the best album of the year..Im not gonna lie I bought into the hype purchased the album and was underwhelmed by its mediocrity . I'm not gonna lie numbers on the board is dope snitch is dope but the problem was and is push. He blames Kanye but push been in the game wayyy before Kanye was in the game. what did he expect? a album full of kanye beats and features? you been rapping too long for a co sign furthermore how did he think Kanye was gonna produce beats for his album when he's working on his own album at the same time? The King Push album will never see he light of day because he's on good music and kanye isn't gonna let the neptunes gobble up the budget how else will he get paid? and jimmy iovine will never green light this project for star trak interscopeso I guess he can ask def jam for a release but what label are gonna pay for album full of beats from the neptunes with a barely gold artist whose a has been..? stick the fork in himthis album will come out right after juelz santana and fabulous drop feb 31 2018

As far as The Neptunes and Pusha go back to like '97, I'm 100% sure they wouldn't charge him full price for production. This isn't about money for the Neptunes, I doubt they need it anyway. Furthermore, Interscope and Def Jam have the same parent company so it wouldn't be that hard to cross brand on the respect. Lastly, can't you be happy to see Pharrell, Chad, and Push working together?

The Neptunes are dope producers, but they're good at making fun, positive, summer time music. I'm not tryin' to hear this nigga regurgitate his cocaine fables for the 900th time over some happy ass beats. I'll be checkin' for the intrumental album.

  • D-LOX

This should be dope wish other rappers had that type work ethic just don't put 2 chainz on this album or that faggot big sean his verse on MNIMN was one the worst ive ever heard

  • Anonymous

Hope this is better than the MNIMN let down (I didn't like the production on it). Also no wack features like Rick Ross would be nice.

    • Anonymous

that song was okay but kanye ruined it for me

    • Anonymous

Actually Ross' verse is pretty sick now that I think about it.... "We were born to be kings, only major league teams Chasing my paper, couldn't fathom my wealth Built a school in Ethiopia, should enroll in myself God body and mind, food for the soul When you feeding on hate, you empty, my nigga, it shows"

    • dashing28

The Ross verse was one of the best he's done in years and that song was one of the best on there. I'm usually not opposed to hating on MMG, but you gotta give due when deserved.

Best news of the year. That last album was poor. Now he's back where he belongs. Neptunes and pusha t equals classic. Kanye don't know pusha as an artist.

  • theone05

This is a good look for hip hop. Thank God Pusha is getting back with people that actually give a fuck about him unlike Kanye "I am God" West. As an executive producer Mr. West is an absolute failure.

10-1 he's just parroting that article and doesn't really know what he's talking about. Either that or Marcus K. Dowling is just roaming the comments to get people to read said article.

This is exactly the shit that I said in my article 2 - 3 months ago entitled "Pushed Aside: How Kanye West Failed Pusha T As An Executive Producer".
