Pill Speaks On Acting Role In New Film, "96 Minutes"

Atlanta's Pill talks about his role in a new film that also features Brittany Snow and Evan Ross titled "96 Minutes."

Atlanta, Georgia's Pill has made a name for himself in Hip Hop but he's also out to prove he's got acting skills. He will be featured in a new film, 96 Minutes, that also stars Evan Ross and Brittany Snow.

"I play a character by the name of Rodger." Pill told Billboard, before noting that he got the role after an audition. "I actually got a real role that I auditioned for. I'm always working. I make sure I'm always doing something to elevate myself or prepare myself for superstardom."

The film is inspired by true events and deals with an event that brings four very different young people together. Aimee Lagos directed the film and other stars including Christian Serratos and J. Michael Trautmann will also appear in the flick.

This is not the only film Pill has worked on. In fact, CyHi Da Prince recently explained that he is also working on a movie with Pill.

"I’m secretly shooting a movie to it with a major production company so you will see it and it’s incredible,” he said in an interview with Vibe.com. “It’s going to be a short film directed and wrote by CyHi. The main guys in the film are me, Pill and Alley Boy. So they will be the three actors in the film, so look forward to it guys.

This film looks like it's going to be off-da-chain, I can't wait. For these fools who saying Pill sold out, Pill is one of those kats who is trynna make his grip. He is young now and the streets maybe where he comes from, but once he's in the business, he's gonna change because he'll mature. Just like Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Ice Cube, and Ice T. Yall dumbasses have to realize, this hip hop, street shit is just a facade, an act that they put on to sell records to you dumb young black men. At the end of the day, they put that hardcore role behind them they go home to their mansions and watch idiots like you portray gangstas and shoot and kill each other up.
