CyHi Da Prynce is the latest to make a movie. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper has announced plans to shoot a film to be released in conjunction with his upcoming mixtape Allies, with plans to star in the flick alongside Pill and Alley Boy.
“I’m secretly shooting a movie to it with a major production company so you will see it and it’s incredible,” he told Vibe.com. “It’s going to be a short film directed and wrote by CyHi. The main guys in the film are me, Pill and Alley Boy. So they will be the three actors in the film, so look forward to it guys.”
The mixtape, which features guest appearances from Big Sean, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pill, Meek Mill and Yelawolf, will complement the movie, which he claims will have something for everyone. “The storyline to it is not just solely street situations. The streets are added too, but I brought it out so it’ll be like something your mom could watch,” he said. “My demographics is wide so I have to appease everybody.”
While he plans to drop his Royal Flush 2 mixtape before Allies and its film, he’s serious about shooting the visuals. “We just started shooting it. I had one day we was on set, we was just really going on with the script with the director,” he continued. “I’ve been doing these shows, so I had to turn down a few shows the next few months so I could get it done.”
