Whether or not Kanye West was invited, Friday’s Haiti Relief Telethon has rightfully helped its cause. The two-hour, multi-network airing at the top of the weekend has generated over $57 million to date, spokespeople told the Associated Press today.

The monies are from phone, text and web pledges of support. That figure does not include the iTunes partnership, which allowed viewers and fans to purchase the performances from the evening for under $7.99, or individually for 99 cents. Proceeds from those purchases will also go to Haiti relief.
