Donald Glover Shows Off New Look At 2024 Oscars

Donald Glover switched up his look and debuted a new, cleaner look at an after-party for the 2024 Academy Awards.

The actor, rapper and comedian attended an event put together by Vanity Fair following the annual awards ceremony on Sunday (March 10). In addition to a tapered cut, the artist also known as Childish Gambino once again ditched his full beard for just a mustache.

As for the duds, Glover was draped in AMIRI from his outfit down to his black and white shoes.

In other news, Donald Glover recently revealed he’s been considering getting back into stand-up comedy despite passing up the opportunity to jump on stage in Los Angeles not too long ago.

During a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter last month for his new show with Maya Erskine, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, the multi-hyphenate revealed that he still writes down jokes from time to time.

“I still write jokes down and I think about it,” he said. “I asked Bill Burr where to go, and I had a list, and I was just like, ‘Is it something that I feel like I need to do right now?’ Maybe it’s just a nice thing that’s there that you can try to do again if you want.”

He also revealed that he considered a return to comedy because of Chris Rock, saying: “Oh yeah. Thought about it. Chris Rock had said, like, ‘When are you going to do it again? No one gets really good at it until their 40s, except for Eddie [Murphy].”

Glover also shared that he goes to the Comedy Cellar in New York, though he hasn’t made a return to the stage.

Elsewhere in the interview, he offered an update of sorts on new Childish Gambino music, sharing: “I want to, but I sort of feel the same about music as I do about stand-up right now.”

Back in December, Glover said he’s working on a new album when probed by TMZ, but he didn’t give away much else beside saying it’s coming “soon.”

Childish Gambino’s last record, 3.15.20, arrived four years ago.
