Dolly Parton seems aware that Beyoncé will most likely be dominating not only the country genre in the foreseeable future but also streams for one of her biggest hits.

On Wednesday (March 27), prior to the weekend release of Cowboy Carter — which features a fresh rendition of the evergreen blockbuster “Jolene” — the 78-year-old icon took to her Instagram Stories and asked her fans and followers to stream the original version of her 1973 hit.

Earlier this week, Queen B unveiled the components of her next projects, which is set to arrive on March 29.

In addition to the aforementioned cover, Cowboy Carter will also feature a song titled “The Linda Martell Show,” which pays homage to the first Black female country artist to perform at the famed Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
