From the late 1990s to the early 2000s, DJ Clue was one of the hottest DJs in the music business due to his infectious mixtapes. Over the last two decades, Clue has worked with a plethora of artists including JAY-Z, Fabolous, and Lil Wayne, to name a few. He also mentored DJ Envy while he was a young DJ.

The legendary mixtape DJ previously spoke on the state of the music business in 2022 when he chastised the quality of music that’s being released today. Clue revealed on Twitter that he’s not a fan of some of the current music being produced, and he offered some advice to those making music in the modern era.
