Chika has reportedly been hospitalized in Los Angeles for kidney failure as she’s made a pair of trips to the ICU within the last month.
The 26-year-old took to Instagram on Sunday (July 9) revealing her hospitalization as she posed in her blue hospital gown for a few mirror selfies with an IV going into her arm.

“Been in the ICU twice in the past month and it’s so friggin boring that i have resorted to taking prison photos. enjoy. album in a couple- a weekz,” she wrote.
While fans began spreading rumors in her comment section, Chika cleared up the reasoning behind the hospital visits were due to kidney failure.
“You know you can spend 3 days in ICU and then get moved to the regular floor right,” she clapped back. “Please shut the fuck up, i had kidney failure.”

Although, there were plenty of fans who sent their love and warm wishes to Chika as she goes through her health struggles.
Chika has been open about her health and mental health battles in the past as she nearly went through with ending her life in 2022.
“I went to the top of the intercontinental, but could not jump. not because i don’t want to, but because the metal stairs were scary. that’s the thing about having a fucked up brain. no matter how much pain you’re in, there will always be something holding you back. it’s draining & sad,” she wrote.
“It looks like crying wolf, but it’s not. it’s just difficult to find the right way. the quickest way. the painless way. i am tired of myself too.”

On the music side, Chika is gearing up to unleash her SAMSON album, which arrives on July 28. The LP features “Truth or Die” with Freddie Gibbs, “DEMIGOD” and “REQUIEM FOR A DREAM” among the 20 tracks.
