Well, a ton of Hip Hop artists have sampled the band. I think 2pac, Missy Elliot, Freddie Gibbs etc. Also, they were the inspiration for Acid Rap by Chance the Rapper. So, while the band isn’t Hip Hop they definitely have an influence on Hip Hop which makes it relevant.
