HipHopDX Premiere: Milwaukee, Wisconsin rapper/producer Renz Young has rolled through with a new video for “Otherside,” which features the aspiring artist going through a timeline of his life. Directed by Immanuel Baldwin and BrenEnd, Young is filmed rapping from what looks like his childhood home as he works on making his dreams of a music career come true.
“If you know anything about Milwaukee, you know a lot of the most popular artists in the city are from the Eastside,” Young tells DX. “So this song was inspired by the fact that I’ve been on the Northside working just as hard. That’s where the title ‘Otherside’ and concept came from. In addition to that, I wanted to have a fun record on my project. This was my opportunity to accomplish that.”
