Great piece! But Clone Thugz are trippin. Jay, Kanye, Wu-Tang, they the only dudes that could pull something off like that. Bone cant pull that off. Just look at all the media the Wu and Jay got vs the Bone story, hardly anyone paid attention to the Bone clone story. At least the Wu got the album done, they had a beautiful casing for it, dropped the story with Forbes, got museums involved, had the whole world talking about it. Everything was done in a classy and professional way. This Bone shit is just a bunch of dudes saying shit trying to ride the wave. That made you look weak Bone!!!

@Justin hunte.. yeah Kast and Tribe could do it, but I dont think it would have the same impact as Wu-Tang. There’s something about how they pulled this one, you can see there’s been a lot of prep done, there’s a concept, a goal they want to achieve with it. With Bone it’s all money. I don’t know, this story fascinated me and I checked the reactions in the media and this shit was everywhere, in every outlet, even serious media, this shit captivated people. Maybe because it was the first time someone did this. But with that box and all, it just made it look bigger than life. With Bone it feels like it’s all about money and simply copying the Wu. The Wu hates a bitin ass shark nigga!
That’s a good point. Does it change anything if Bone, or the next artist to try something similar (which will absolutely happen) if they put as much effort into the packaging and marketing as Wu?
