Em is one of my favorite artists ever, but he fell off. The whole screaming shit in every song is trash. Secondly, his bars aren’t as dope anymore. And the way he was breaking the syllables down in that third verse is so awkward. A – cheive suc- ceed …that’s terrible.
Em set the bar so fuckin high a decade ago that people will call it shit if its anything less than diamond. If he handed these verses to someone else to spit you would think its off the hook, expectations will kill him for the rest of his career. Of course its not as good as SSLP, MMLP and Em Show, but then again, name anyone who could touch him in that period. Same goes with Hov, its hard to top Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, Black Album, etc.
