    1. Honestly, I listen to “And The Anonymous Nobody” more than any album I have. It is pretty dope and deserves the Grammy in my eyes. I have an open mind when it comes to music. De La absolutely stretched the boundaries of hip hop but did it in a refreshing, abstract, and very cool way. Not just making an album that is sonically different for the sake of being different.

      1. This aint the album De La deserves to win with… they got about 3 other albums in the timeframe since they created a best rap album award… where those nom’s at? backpacking/pro black never got its just due when it was created… Kendrick had to pave the way… And he is just an updated watered down version of a rapper like Pos… what the fuck, you setting somebody up to fail? or look stupid? that album was no where nearly as good as the tribe album… but look at the genre-bending guestlist…. Don’t get it confused, I love De La, this is just like a fucking joke though nominating this album compared to others…

      2. De La getting a grammy nod is soooo late and overdue. I grew up on them. People don’t appreciate what they bring to the table at all. And it kills me because ATCQ is from the the same circle as them, The Native Tongues.

      1. shoutout skyzoo and Apollo, !LOOK UP!, too bad the grammys is so white-washed as far as rap and hiphop goes, they know there is no point in submitting it. This article should be about how skyzoo and Apollo didn’t submit the album. I don’t wanna hear about mackelmore not submitting his trash because he knows that shit is trash and sounds like all the other bullshit nominated…talk about a good album not being submitted or even considered… hiphopdx, white-washed bullshit just like the grammys….

And don’t think cause Kendrick won, the Grammies aren’t white-washed, that’s the most white-washed shit out now, these albums trying to sound like black power, when they are really made to make white people feel good about listening to rap and hiphop music…Where the fucking thugs at??????? DOPE, MONEY, and HOES!! ;If you aint about that be creative!!! you had your chance with that black power bullshit in the 70s, now it is just for the benefit of white people…
