    1. Investigate on why rappers from their region no longer rhyme like their set.
East coast raps it was boom-bap soul samples
West coast raps has that funk
Right now everybody fucking southern like A$AP MOB for example

    2. I’d say HHNF was Clipses best project hands down and a classic album. F&L that’s tough my personal favorite album has to be Tetsuo&Youth but each album hits you differently. Either way these are two of my favorite artists good to see real music getting it’s shine.

    3. This the only good thing about HHDX nowadays. Also do GOATS on hiphop producers. They don’t get enough shine

    4. The only thing I think that would have changed Lu’s career if Jay took over Atlantic was that Lasers wouldn’t have sounded so commercial, and would have fallen in the path of F&L / The Cool.

Lasers, to me, is the only blemish on Lupe’s catalog, and I don’t even blame him for it. If you take out a couple of the forced commercial songs and replace them with some of the singles he dropped around that time (SLR for example) it’s an infinitely better album.

    5. “What up LA Reid, I still see ya. You still my homebody, won’t even charge you for a feature.” Lupe Fiasco (Dear Fall)
“I own my own master. No I ain’t missin’ no royalty statements, I can’t be rated.” Jay Z (We Made It Freestyle)
