Boring? No way. Then you say over people’s heads – that implies he is extra complex and smart – sounds like you don’t get it. Also, the saying is “over people’s heads” – there is no need to say “over the top of people’s heads” b/c you can’t go “over the bottom” of anybody. Make sense?
