      1. shut up listen to there mixtapes first
THEY WERE THE PAST NOT THE FUTURE
2009 = ONE OF THE BEST YEARS IN HIP-HOP

    1. u know when they say “i FEEL that track/song”? this shit sent CHILLS through a nigga for reals…damn. GREAT music, album full of this and Wale’s got another classic on his hands…

    2. The realeast song Ive ever heard from Wale.

      That AIDS..death/deaf bar …sheesh

      Fiend for a mother…trieble line….smh

I dont know you my nigga/ know you my nigga…wow

    3. Wale is unreal, his first album and mixtapes were legit. But I just cant get into this album..from what I’ve heard. I want to enjoy it so badly, but cant.

      1. exactly… now i hope people can see how bad Rick Ross is fucking up the industry.
He takes a pure artist with a ORIGINAL SOUND and turns him to a mediocre rapper. But at least we got to follow him for a bit.

Now im just really looking forward to Kendricks and Big Krits debuts. Hopefully they wont go the Traditional route and stay independent

      2. I don’t here any Rick Ross influence on this album apart from Ambition which is the best track on the album, I have no doubt most of it was recorded prior to MMG. Don’t try and blame some else for Wale flopping.

    4. Wale’s flow is just so over some niggas head. his wordplay is ridiculous! He has the best of both worlds to be the best. like HOV…

      1. If you are from DMV, DC and Landover are pretty much the same group people. Many blacks from Dc have moved out to Prince George’s County. Landover’s hood too!!

    5. One of the best tracks off an otherwise average album, I was expecting it to be constructed a lot better because of Ross.

      1. Wtf are you talking about this is a leak the album isnt even out yet. And ross is garbage idk why you expecthim to put together good shit. Wale would be better off without him

    6. Wale was way better before maybach music he got corrupted by the industry just like wiz but can’t hate when he puts out good shit

      1. what yall talkin bout his music is even better have u heard the song wit miguel, or kevin cossem, or bait his music is even better yall jus some rick ross haters!!!! die slow!!!!!!

    7. He’s from the DMV same shit smh people need to stop. Of course he represents DC, i live on Silver Spring but i say im from DC, i went to school there and go there all the time. Its essentially the same shit. Your tellin me people from DC dont go into maryland? fuck outa here

    8. Sounds great. DC should be proud. Hottest thing from DC since BET. Too bad you guys didn’t support BET shows when they were filmed in DC and now New York has locked you out of promoting DC talent. Don’t sleep on WALE. Go buy his album.

    9. i’m not sure why people keep giving props to wale’s flow. is wordplay is cool, but his delivery is ass. most of the time he sounds like he’s just rambling. the reason he goes over heads isn’t because he’s so clever, its cause his presentation is terrible.

Rick Ross been jackin Wale’s flow since he signed him, and he rick sounds better with it… and i hate rick!

    10. this will be album of the year hands down i was giving it to games red album but my man wale topped it off and he has a strong buzz i think he will sell really well good chance at goin gold and with a hit single maybe more

      1. I co-sign this statement. Although Wale’s shit is knockin too. I’m coppin it as well. RED was classic though, but with success, comes more hate.

        @TeronTheDon

    11. “may your trees be loud and your queens be proud, may you see your dreams allowed before you see them from a cloud…” Wale is top 5 hands down for or new generation

    12. I am from DC and I was not feeling Wale, the r don’ support him, but DC is full of haters anyway. I was not feeling his flow. However, He has really stepped up his game, I don’t care if he is from the streets or not, it is really stpuid to expect entertainers to be gangster, it has gone too far. My problem was I was sick of subpar rappers coming out when the really ill rappers remain unknnown. it makes it seem like we don’t have ill rappers, when in fact we have rappers that would dust Wale and a lot of other rappers off. That being said, Wale is two for two with the new work. I would be hating if I didn’t give him props for stepping up his game. Hopefully, our city starts to embrace him a bit more, though, I can understand if the treatment his city gave him, leaves him with a chip on his shoulder.
