My problem was I was sick of subpar rappers coming out when the really ill rappers remain unknnown. it makes it seem like we don’t have ill rappers, when in fact we have rappers that would dust Wale and a lot of other rappers off. That being said, Wale is two for two with the new work. I would be hating if I didn’t give him props for stepping up his game. Hopefully, our city starts to embrace him a bit more, though, I can understand if the treatment his city gave him, leaves him with a chip on his shoulder.
