Artist, Producer, and Director, Mass is stirring up controversy releasing a new music video (They aint Gon’ Last) depicting characters from the popular hit HBO drama “The Wire” via his youtube page (www.youtube.com/massordietv). The shows producers are allegedly livid at the young director for not getting the proper clearance. Although no copyrights have been violated, the producers feel that the show was not properly represented in the video. “At this point very little legal action can be taken” says an Hbo representative at a press conference earlier this week. Chris Pribilio at Massterpiece Entertainment released this statement: “We did not break any laws here. All we did was loosely base the video on the earlier days of 2 characters from the Wire and everyone is getting all worked up. At the end of the day, it’s just more pub for us”! Although there have been no charges brought up against Mass or Massterpiece Entertainment, HBO has been working to try and get the video banned from youtube and other video streaming sites, but as of now, it looks like we have found our next Internet sensation in Mass.
I hope form him his album will drop on aftermath because of his tattoo. Allot of artist that singed with the label never drop t an album may by one single but that was it so not a very smart idea that tattoo of his.
