    1. who the fuck gave this a five? fucking idiot

change your name, change your flow, change the god damn hook at least.

    2. This song is deep! People need to learn about what is going on in China, comprehensive persecution against Falun Gong, but the Falun Gong still stands strong and won’t give up under pressure. A really important movement.

    3. Good as a whole, meaninggfull lyrics which reminds one of the importance of human rights and freedom of belief. The music supports it in a good way.

    4. hey… haha damn been a long time Ankh… you still on that asian spiritual trip I see… get your african shit back on you traitor ass blackese mofo … just kidding… glad to hear you’re still here. 5 stars from me…

    5. Once again our brother captures the essence of truth that reveals the horrible persecution of Dafa Practitioners in China. As usual his lyrics compels the listner to take notice, and in the case of Linn’s Story, hopefully take action…(STOP THE PERSECUTION!!!)

    6. Good story telling and rhyming. You had me listening all the way to the end, which I usually never have the patience to do, so you get a 5 from me.

I felt your instrumentation/samples accurately reflected the darkness and harsh times that face those in China who choose their faith over freedom, but perhaps you could have reflected more of that heroic Asian spirit in times of hardship that comes through in the story with more asian/Chinese instrumentation e.g. old guqin, pipa, dizi, erhu, matouqin, guzheng instruments etc. East West recently came out with their Silk collection, which samples a bunch of these instruments.

There are also lots of old compilations out there. Soundtracks for Asian historical dramas might be another source for inspiration (see http://www.dramafever.com e.g. Ji Gong Zhuan (Old Version), Jewel in the Palace, Yi San, Jumong, Three Kingdoms, Journey to the West, Emperor of the Sea etc).

You might also appreciate some of that classic Chinese poetry, which can summarize huge themes/feelings in only a few words e.g. the Cao’s of the Three Kingdoms, Tao Yuanming of the Eastern Jin, Li Bai, Dufu, Wang Wei and Bai Juyi of the Tang, and Su Dongpo and more of the Song.

Otherwise, keep up the good work, and looking forward to hearing some more quality from Rise-Ascend in the future!

      Peace, J 😀

    7. Sorry, don’t mean to sound arrogant or like a know-it-all, just truly wanted to share from one musician/asian culture enthusiast/human rights advocate to another. All the best, J 😀

    8. AWESOME!!! This story has repeated itself hundreds of thousands of times in China since 7/20/1999 and is still happening even until now. For those who are not aware of this genocide that’s been going on in China, you can always look it up and find out that different human rights organizations have reported on this, like Reporters Without Borders and Amnesty International, just to name a couple. Look up the book “Bloody Harvest” written by David Matas and David Kilgour and you will see the extent that the criminal Chinese communist party regime goes to for absolute control.
