Reks is a very underrated NICE lyricist. Solid track w/ nice beat and everyone coming at least solid if not real nice. Wish dudes like this, Elzhi, Diabolic, Crooked I (and the rest of SH), One Be Lo, Louis Logic, AOTP, Pharoahe Monch, Kool G Rap, Masta Ace, Brother Ali, Copywrite, Boot Camp/Duck Down, Atmosphere, Juice, Percee-P, Fashawn, J Cole, Blackstarr Jay Electronica could make it onto the radio. I’ll keep dreaming. Would force dudes like Em and Jay to step up their game as currently their comp on the radio is god awful and is making them come avg
I really hope you “real hip-hop heads” reconize this beat. It wasn’t produced by Statik, he jacked an Ill Bill beat off “The Hour Of Reprisal” added shakers and rearrnged it. I’ve been a fan of REKS for a minute now, dope verse… but where’s the originality homie? 1
wasnt this a beat from a vinnie paz album, idk? O a ill bill album? i knew it sounded it familiar but i know i havent heard this on a ill bill album cuz i cant stand ill bill, he blows. 4/5
