    1. nipsey is definitely one of the most talented songwriters to come up recently.
his lines are always dope, and im constantly amazed at what he brings.
i dont hear anything special in artists like kendrick (he has an annoying voice, and i only like that song of the gitl who was raped..the rest is trash, and i think the whole us is on some preemo dope to feel that little boy)
as for the rest, nipsey is ahead of the class..thats why they hate on him, and dont give him his chance, because he can become a legend in a heartbeat if he does what he has to do.

      1. Kendrick Lamar is in a completely different realm of artistry when it comes to his music.. and if your layin down sleepin on songs like “Ronald Reagan Era”, “Rigamortis”, “Blow My High”, and “The Spiteful Chant”then you, kind gentleman, are a retard.

Hussle is the shit tho, I just gotta assume you listened to no more than a couple KL songs and jumped the gun on the dude. Watch YouTube videos of him spittin in the middle of a phat group of people just freestylin’ and fucking murdering shit, and he’s talking some real shit. Don’t sleep on Lamar, he holds more talent than most of the newcomers in the game these days.

    2. These Newcomers are getting more rotation in my car than Outkast, Nas, 2pac etc use to and I’m not ashamed of that at all.

      Nipsey Hu$$le
      A$AP Rocky
      Kendrick Lamar
      Sugar Tongue Slim (STS)
      Thurz
      TiRon & Ayomari

…to name a few. 2012 is gonna be a good year as far as the revival of some real hip hop is concerned.

    3. I like Nipsey. Its weird cuz he got that snoop dog west swag but be spittin some wale type shit. And I personally like his selection of beats but some don’t go well with his style/sound. He is def an artist thats under rated. I read somewhere that he has a past with “illegal activity” . Alotta execs nowadays don’t necessarily wanna invest in someone that could be in legal troubles at any time.

    4. Times have changed. The days of gangsta rap are over, now its hip-hop pop ah la Drake, Wiz. Execs want hip-hop artist specifically to be someone with their own following that can create buzz own their own, and someone that stays out of trouble.
