That’s the most ridiculous thing I heard all day. Alchemist is one of the best hip-hop producers ever. He’s a genius with sampling, time stretching, mixing, he’s brilliant with the MPC. He’s creative without over-producing tracks. He’s unorthodox yet traditional in the structure of his beats. He does shit you probably don’t understand. You want something a little happier and safer. This is not for you.

The drums are crispy as fuck, the synth is sinister, the cadence of the beat is perfect, and it has a dark, murderous feel to it. It’s also engineered and mixed down in a dreary kind of way that adds to the eerie feel of it. It creates a feeling. Niggas gotta explain why a beat is dope now? It can’t just be dope.
