Seventh Seal left a bad vibe in my ears. This track helps ease the pain, just a bit.
Agreed.
Dope! Rakim the God of rap.
DOPE
Seventh Seal is not really bad, there’re some good tracks !
FIRE
is it jus me or duz Rakim n Prodigy sound alot alike?? Rakim went in tho… his skills r timeless n 1 of the best lyricist the game has seen! Big up Rakim!!! this man is underrated n 4 that reason i give 5/5 n i hardly ever give a 5
This shit right here is hard. The theme and the beat is Ra’s zone. The God aint lost a step.
Pure Fire! TDot stand up…Marco Polo is one of the best producers in the game and the R forever kills it!
09 wasn’t a great yr for hiphop albums but atleast Ra’s Seal stood out
DOOOPE
Does not even sound the like god Rakim.
GOD MC! FUCK DRAKE!
why not add Masta Ace to this…?
This ish mad smooth.
He can still rhyme. I mean, his shit is dope on paper…he just can’t flow anymore. His flow is too stiff. He needs to listen to No Omega and remember what it was like to ravage a beat. Now he just lazily plods over the track.
Its to bad seventh seal was somewhat of a hit and miss. With this track and a more hungry Rakim overall that could have been a real nice one too. But there is nothing more important than just that in a rapper, hunger hunger and hunger creates that ish that makes you salivate.
he was going to work with dr.dre but he left aftermath
didnt like the seventh seal
The original title for the album was Oh, My God, with the original release date set for 2002, but after he signed with Dr. Dre’s Aftermath record label, he eventually left. The official reason for his departure from Aftermath were creative differences and the different work habits of Dre and rakim
DAMN!
not bad
yeah
