6/5 beat
2/5 lyrics
typical mac trak for ur wednesday morning
this was my double up sell back spot. upstairs
another good beat wasted on mac millers down syndrome ass
that made me laugh so hard you couldn’t say it any better… this dude is over rated for no reason it really bothers me
down syndrome? any proof in that? you sound like the type of person that would make fun of someone with cancer. grow up.
its a joke, people have been saying he has downs for months and months now because of all the stupid facial expressions he seems to be making in every picture and how he says ummmmm or like every other word
This is a chill beat and Mac’s lyrics are not bad at all. Its not super lyrical Canibus Immortal Technique shit. Its just slow lyrics you can vibe to. His lyrics are perfect for this beat. Hes definitely over rated, but hes not as bad as you internet pussies are saying.
i just wanna punch this kid in his eye brow
Say what you will about his style… The mufuka made it!
IDK why ppl like this dude no doubt dude can rap but his flow is so fucking lazy he puts me to fucking sleep. The whole time i listened to this song i just nodded my head to the beat i thought it was an instrumental. Dude rap with no damn emotion at all………………………………..

how can anybody be a fan of rap in 2012? honestly the shit sucks and has no musical merit. this kid wouldnt dare step to a mic in the bronx when rap was bubbling. he did it when his lap top had pro tools and a file of stolen beats and faggot kids who got into rap via eminem got behind him

Props
Where does Mac get these producers?
Honestly, I’ve never thought too much of this kid skill-wise, but he definitely deserves props, because:
1. The kid not only knows his fucking hip-hop, but he clearly loves it to death. Anyone who would dedicate a song to a record store has to be a true head. He’s also a big fan of Big L, Gang Starr, Wu-Tang, Tribe; that real shit. I remember seeing this interview with Primo where he was talking about when they recorded that “Face the Facts” track, and Primo was saying that all Mac wanted to hear was stories about Big L. This kid is as much a head as any one of us.
2. He’s constantly getting mad dap and co-signs from some very respectable heads, not that that should immediately mean anything, or that it should be make or break. I mean, I wouldn’t call him dope just because a Primo does. But then other than the obvious Primo co-sign in a collab, there’s also Statik Selek who’s constantly bigging him up everywhere and has made songs with him, same with 9th Wonder. That’s called clout.
3. This guy is doing A LOT for the indie game. I mean, c’mon, he’s gone gold already and did 100k independently his first week out. That’s nothing to sneeze at. Would you rather have that, or would you like to go back to ’07 when a Soulja Boy could sell 3 million “ringtones” like it was nothing? Hip-hop, music, and art in general, is about progression. To whoever said that Mac Miller wouldn’t last when hip-hop was still budding in the Bronx; well, that isn’t now. Now is now. Just thank Bejesus that we’re out of that whole “snap”/”crunk”/”ringtone rap” funk, when even the underground rap was directly affected and even the good stuff had effectively become nostalgic 90s throwback bullshit. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some underground shit as much as the next guy, but we need to progress musically, sonically, and lyrically. What good is treading on the past? Whatever happened back then, happened and it’s long over. I can only take so much bitter middle aged men rapping over uninspired boom bap about how rap was better when they were your age. Nah. Fuck that. We could’ve never gotten an album like “Black & Brown” by Black Milk & Danny Brown or “Section.80” by Kendrick Lamar back in 2007. The underground is better than it’s even been creatively, and the mainstream is better than it has been in recent years. And say what you want about Odd Future, but they’re a creative and cultural force in the industry right now and the fact that they’re getting so much shine, and, for instance, that dudes who came up from the quasi-underground like Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf and Big K.R.I.T. and countless others are signed to major labels are beautiful things for hip-hop. I thank God night and day that hip-hop has ended up where it has. Trust me, after what it went through in the mid 2000s, this is the *best* possible outcome.
So in closing, some of y’all really need to grow up and stop shitting on this kid for no reason. As commonly abused and cliche as the paradigm has become, I respect his hustle, rightfully so, and you should too.
