Here’s another leak off ‘Lasers’ where Lupe links with Trigga and for the first time in a while he’s not talking so reckless.

      1. urs a dumbass sellouts dont rip apart the system in their tracks and fight their labels

go listen to bieber u toolbag

      2. You don’t know what you’re talking about! Have you heard any of the other tracks on Lasers? He’s spitting truth about the corrupt system thats holding you down. He’s putting his neck out there for the people. Honestly don’t speak out of ignorance…it gets old.

      3. @the three bitches who replied to my post

        obviously yall confused

his album is a fuckin pop album so yall better shut the fuck up because obviously this dickridin shit got yall three faggots blind like hell

again, i dont like the new Lupe, he went from a hip-hop sound to a hip-POP sound

and if you dont disagree it’s your right but goddamn dont curse behind your computer screen and e-thuggin like a bunch of pussy ass cowards cause yall definitely aint that hard

    1. The label mad so they leakin the whole shit!!! LMAOOOOOOO

      SWAG!!!!!

      FUCK OFWGKTA!!!!

      SWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG!!!

    2. getting worried now,……

i put lupe in my top 10 list, but this is gettign scary with the last 2 leaks.

    3. i’m kinda hoping this is one of the songs that Lupe said he didn’t write and didn’t like on the album. not going to rate this one. the Trey chorus is on point, i’m definitely a fan. but this does not sound like something lupe would normally do. Lup E.N.D will have to be his next great album. even though All Black Everything off of Lasers is already on steady repeat for me on this site (not going to download the album leak). still going to buy the album, but after hearing him say he himself isnt thrilled with it, or even happy about it, I’m going to get it on itunes instead of getting a physical copy. Still my favorite rapper though

      1. I feel ya man. I’m not listening to any songs until next tuesday but I had to give this one a listen. I was nervous and i’m afraid i was right. Though there are going to be some dope songs on the album, I’m now anxiously awaiting F&L 2…

    4. Mike Snoddy is one of the coldest producers the Chicago area has ever produced. This kid has more in his babyfinga than Kanye and No I.D. put together. Give young fella some time. I know what I am talking bout.

    5. Okay .. lets set this shit straight everyone.

This and a couple of other songs are forced to be made by Alantic records , his label .. The real Lupe fans know which songs he made and which songs he didnt.

Lasers is still a album worth to buy .. everyone whos sayin “AHHH OMFG hes selling out” you gotta understand the politics of this shit , i know the politics suck ass but its just the way shit goes and trust me i dont like it either. But enjoy the rest of 80% of the album which is fucking DOPE. BUY IT.

    6. some of yall are some fickle ass Maricone Mutha fuckers….I like Lupe and he is a great artist…and he did something different and it sounds really good..cotdamn!!..micro scrutinizing shit!!..the track is Good…and its fun to listen Too….cant wait 4 Lasers!!

    7. NO Lupe!!! two bad songs in a row, i don’t want to care right now sucked and now this. FUCK ATLANTIC they made lasers a pop album. all black everything and words i never said along with the bonus tracks im beamin and shining down are dope as hell tho. I def dont like this pop shit tho

    8. its not bad for a pop song. i dont think it will be as big as show goes on, cuz its not as catchy and the lyrics arent as good.

the thing with lupe is, i really do feel most of his singles… superstar, kick push, daydream, hip hop saved my life. those are all dope songs. atlantic has gotta let him make mostly deep lyrical shit, singles like those songs (or show goes on), and actually push the music for him like they’re supposed to.

    9. Grown ups will dig this. He can miss me with that so-called “controversial” shit. You ain’t deep nigga. Marvin Gaye is deep.

      1. yea…mad dissapointed so far…i still kno he dope but these past few songs aint cuttin it…was suppose to be on the level of food and liqour………way off base!!!

    10. i like the song but i’m still disappointed because out of all the songs so far only 1 or 2 seem along the lines of food n liquor like it supposedly was inted to be. i do like the song tho

    11. what the fuck is this lu!? Dope lyrics but trey songs? The label really screwed ya shit up huh? Go to sleep and I’m beamin aren’t even going to be on the album. He will never put out a wack album, even with intervention of wack ass atlantic records. I’m still copin

    12. Another wack track from Lasers? WTF?? Heard half the tracks on it and have only liked 2, so all his fans went through all that shit and this is what your giving us? It ain’t all about lyrics Lupe, never thought you would be the one to sell out.

    13. Calm the fuck down people ..
Put it this way .. he has one Pop song to promotee his fuckiingg album .. And at least it is catchy and pretty good lyrically…
      Lupee No.1 LASERS!!

      1. if you think this is the only pop song on the album you’re sadly mistaken. it’ll only hurt more once you listen to it.

    14. All Black Everything….is really the best song on the cd….this track with Trey Songz is pretty much the whole feel of the cd….so prepare yourselves for a not so good cd

    15. Why in gods name does this have a 3.60 rating? Jesus, this is the dudes job. Obviously doing the music he likes to do wasn’t selling. Don’t blame, him, ATL Records, or anyone else besides the American people. If the people of this country would quit giving in to all the poppy crap that all sounds the same and start buying REAL music, then we wouldn’t have this problem. But all in all, this isn’t a BAD song. It is very poppy but thats what happens when people can’t open their eyes to whats real and whats not. So now we just gotta live with it. LASERS, MARCH 8, I’ll still be buying.

    16. I am a Lupe fan and I have no issues with this song one bit. To this day I still chump Food & Liquor and The Cool. I know Lupe said he hates this album because of the process and some of the bs he had to go through with it. Outside of all of that though, I dont hate the fact that there are cuts that are ready for the radio because now maybe he can get the recognition with the white ppl that he is suppose to get. How many of yall would kill to see underground/conscious rap artists sell like a mothafucka?!?!?!? Lupe has an opportunity to do that we this album if the label launches promo for the next singles properly. We only got one more week but there is alot that they can do with ‘Words I never said’ and believe it or not… this song right here, its very radio ready.

    17. People are dissing this? Did you not feel the flow or hear the lyrics? He switches topics but he still spitting better than %99 of these garbage ass, gimmick pop star rappers. Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?

      1. Are you kidding me? this song (and ultimately this album) is pop as fuck. maybe you should listen to it again. or compare it to his previous work.

      2. So are you both saying there were no pop songs on F&L and the Cool? Go back and listen. There were pop songs on both of those. He switches the subject matter up on this one but the man is still rapping like a person who knows how to rap. Just cause its not a conscience song doesn’t auto qualify it to suck.

      3. dnno i never heard those two albums but this is pop 100%

im not a lupe fan i just gave the song a listen thats all

    18. This beat is just so soft, pure club bullshit, industry sucks, i aint hatin on lupe i know where his hearts at but this is garbage.

    19. Lasers sucks, 3/5 at best, pure pop, it’s impossible to get in to his lyrics/flow over a dance beat, All Black Everything is easily the best track, so sad, can’t believe I spent so long looking forward to this.

    20. I wish people would quit hating on dis song and da Rest of LASERS. Lupe is the GOAT. Not Eminem,, Wayne, or any other Garbage Rapper. LASERS is still gonna be Epic, and I’m buying 3 copies. 1 for me and 2 for Hip Hop. This album is gonna be better then all that whack material u hear on Radio anyways, and once F&L2 TGARA comes out then I know all yall hypocrites will jump right back on da Bandwagon smh. #FakeLupeFans

    21. LUPE FIASCO IS THE GOAT….

HE DID WHAT HE HAD TO DO TO GET THE RECORD OUT….APPRECIATE THAT….

      FEMINEM SUCKS….LIL LAYME….WAKA FLOKA…..REALLLY PPL?

    22. Whooooaaa you people are crazy if you think Eminem isnt one of the sickest Mcs of all time. Take the wax out your ears.

    23. its a commercial trak, quit hatin. lupe deserves recognition. song is catchy. ther aint many lyrics in this song which is precisely what the majority of the public like. evry1 makes these kinda traks, lasers!

    24. I’m a big Lupe fan and this song makes me mad at Atlantic Records!!! But I love to dance and pop champagne too so I love Atlantic Records for giving me a Lupe song I can celebrate to. This was a hot compromise!!!

    25. Wak as fuck. Way to sell out Lupe. The masses will like this shyt but not your fans. Leave Atlantic and start your own Label. Coming up, I don’t wanna give a care… I was read to buy this album the night it comes out but after listening to those tracks, I’ll download this shyt b4 I waste my money. Don’t blame it on me, blame it on the label and the album.

4 years for 11 radio friendly tracks? Where’s the real music???

      I’m out.

If J.Coles album is a sell out, I’m done listening to Hip Hop.

      1. You gotta chill man.
There’s still very good tracks on this album. WINS and ABE. Break the chain, and 2 Ways. With some other good tracks, but yeah Lupe said his record album forced him to make more mainstream stuff.
Don’t worry, LUPEND someday will come out..

      2. Well I’ll ignore this album then.. I guess..
IDK man, I’m disappointed. Waited 4 years for him and trey songz to come out with a club song? I need that epic shyt. Words I never said is pretty epic but this album is looking like a failure.idk

      3. It will be a good album, Saigon’s TGSNT might have the decade on lock unless Dre drops his this decade.. J cole is doing his thing, Wiz has got the smokers on lock, so many more doing their thing…Rap’s good when you’re patient and look around…

      4. Thank you for sharing to us.there are many person searching about that now they will find enough resources by your post.I would like to join your blog anyway so please continue sharing with us.

    26. Wow are u ppl serious???? Just because it is a pop song doesnt mean that it is bad. He deserves to be recognized more in the industry. Ok so what? This may be a pop album for Lupe but that doesnt discredit his talent. He probably didnt want to come out with this “pop” album thats why there was a battle with Atlantic records. Kanye was right its the “cool” thing now to listen to underground/conscious artist over someone who is mainstream. Especially in hip hop. Now I do realize most of the mainstream artist is below average and that creates a bias towards them. But it sounds ridiculous when ppl say this song sucks only because it is mainstream. You sound just as ignorant as the ppl who only like mainstream.

    27. For all of you bitching and calling Lupe a sellout, this wasn’t the original Lasers he wanted to put out. Atlantic forced him to make radio-friendly songs for the album to be released. Listen to “Ladies and Gentleman” or “Scream”. That was the real Lasers. F&L 2 will be back on point

    28. wow lupe murdered this shit, he tightened up the flow and this shit goes stupid hard.

nice song, and dudes have to be straight homosexuals not to like this. Go gets yourselves a woman instead of bitching about this sounding like pop. I hear alot of “pop”/”mainstream” rap that completely sucks and lacks talent on every level but people still like it. There is absolutely nothing you can’t love about this song

    29. Lupe NICE dont care what everybody gotta say bout him. lyrics are nice good production. i heard something that rick fouche did for him serious

    30. G.O.A.T.

HE SWITCHED THE STYLE UP BECAUSE OF THE RECORD LABEL AND HE STILL BETTER THEN EVERY1 ELSE….

    31. Luuuuuuuuuuupe!!!! FNF! Fuck the haters im feelin this shit great crossover, and what are you guys talkin about dumbing it down bc trey on it? Maybe you guys ddnt hear lupes verses

    32. You guys have nerve call dis guy the g.o.a.t? dis niggas like a sheep he the real gollrilla will eat him up DMX TUPAC BIGGIE fuck outta hea

      1. Fuck DMX and Biggie… GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR – There’s DMX’s best song. And as for biggie, he is nothing special…

    33. I just listened to this song a couple of times just to get a good feeling for it. I’m one of the biggest underground Hip-Hop nerds that you’ll ever fine…playing Canibus, Immortal Technique, K-Rino, Blue Scholars, Macklemore, RA Scion, Panacea, Zion I, etc on a regular basis. Keep that in mind when I say this: There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this song.

People don’t understand what the definition of “Selling Out” is. “Selling Out” is when an artist does something to compromise his/her own morals, or when the artist consciously dumbs down their music for commercial gain. Lupe doesn’t do that here. He simply makes a playful radio-ready song…where he still exhibits some of his patented cleverness. There’s nothing wrong with making a “Pop” song. Remember, Michael Jackson was pop. The problem is, nowadays, Hip-Hop fans automatically associate things with a “Pop” feel as Justin Bieber/Lady Gaga shit, so they automatically think it’s bad. It’s only bad if it’s ACTUALLY BAD…no JUST BECAUSE IT”S POP. Somewhere along the line, some people forgot how to have fun. I wouldn’t mind dancing to this in the club. It’s clean and fun, as opposed to most of the ignorant ass club songs that you hear.

There’s nothing wrong with this song at all…And if you guys recall, he just put out “All Black Everything” & “Words I Never Said”, which were very conscious & controversial. Atlantic said throw a couple of clubs songs on there, and he did to get his album out. Can’t fault the guy for that at all.

      1. Damn sir…that was the most valid point I’ve ever read on this site. I’m a huge Lupe fan and don’t really care for this kind of song but i completely agree with almost every point you made

      2. I agree with Cultures. However, there is good Pop music and bad pop music. I purchased the itunes pass and also heard all the leaked tracks. This album is awful. WINS/All Black/Beautiful Lasers only hot track.I love Lupe. He is the best alive. It is very disheartening that my hero could put out such crap, label or not to blame. Every track is Hip Pop or Black Eye Pea/David Guerra garbage.

      3. People don’t understand what the definition of “Selling Out” is. “Selling Out” is when an artist does something to compromise his/her own morals, or when the artist consciously dumbs down their music for commercial gain.”

thats what lupe did with “show goes on” he said it him self they made him make that song and push it pop wise, so he’s a sell out bitch cuz he didnt stand up for what he believes in we dont need no halw-way prophets, either you are with them or with us.

    34. in my opinion although this song has a catchy tune and its a radio song it is still a lupe song. you can still hear his creativity

and for the fucking idiots that are saying that he’s a sell out
did you bother to figure out that Lupe himself said that he wasnt happy about the fact that he had to change some tracks in order to get the album released but he still did it cuz he wanted the fans to hear his music and he stll wants to ditch atlantic

ik its hard to do but try to not make such a douche of yourself and learn about a subject before u give your opinion

    35. i’ve never seen a website hate on lupe more than this piece of shit site. shut the fuck up he’s probably the most intelligent, creative rapper alive

    36. Lupe’s verses are alright.. Especially the song taking in consideration. But the beat, the hook, the composition. Weak, weak, weak. 1 star for each verse.

    37. so all the songs lupe from his album lasers has been featuring someone can this guy put out a song by himself. all black everything wasn’t as good as i expected

    38. just heard the leaked lasers and man did the atlantic do a good job of making lupe dumb it down on the album, they probably chose more than half of the songs on it ,the real songs he had on mind for this album we will never hear unless someone leaks them, lupe should just leave them and go independent.if he claims to speak the truth and expose them instead of saying something then bending over to illuminati atlantic

    39. i agree album is a euro pop no real message let down and lupe is probably mad as hell from what i hear .. but he didnt wanna release this album anyways the fans pushed for it ,the songs on it were not chosen by him except a few

    40. hey lupe if you wanna be called the goat nikka step out the box go independent you made enough money so release a album that you know you can do and make it a classic, you wont sell a lot with lasers believe me…with atlantic you are no better than paul wall, black eyed peas or whatever puppet labels use these days

      1. he has to stay at atlantic until his contract is done. which i 2 more albumsthen hes goin independent

    41. Lupe and Trey Songz??!..Don’t sound right to here Lupe doin songs w/ this vibe..i’m still use to The Cool stuff from him but that beats special..

    42. man, people really hate radio friendly tracks. this track is well put together. havent listened to the radio in yrs, but songs stay on there cause people like em. unfortunately they over play em. look,i love underground too, and I know Lupe isnt coming very lyrical, but damn, this is a smooth track.
