    1. Was kind of iffy at first but I started to like as I heard the whole song, I see you Lupe. John Legend comes with a nice hook too.

    2. sorry lu, this is a shadow of your previous work. if you were anyone else this would be a 1. but im giving you a “never give up” 2.

    3. 5/5 this is a really good feel good song, i could see it being the new nostalgic song they play at graduations.

      1. Co-sign on that, thats the 1st thing that came to mind to me. Very good vibe out this song. more of a chill song.

    4. nigga mad borin

yall tellin me thats yall ridin to this when it drop

women dont want to hear this shit thats the big problem

      1. u aint got to ride to every song and u aint got to have a song for bitches. you just said that so somebody would say somethig back im pretty sure u didnt mean that statement lol.

      2. dude no girls/bitches/women dont wanna hear this borin ass shit

wtf you talkin bout you dont have to ride to every song?? you sound dumb brah like i said you want catch this shit in my wip

    5. i dont care what LU puts out pop/commercial/mixtape/hiphop/rap/punk/rock…..ill cop anything he puts out….hes a true artist…im just glad to get more material from him….no matter what it is…

LUPE THE KILLA AKA LUPE THE GOAT

      peace

    6. okay… so its a mainstream song.

everyone complains all rappers talk about the same shit, at least lu still has different subject matter and tries to be uplifting.

hopefully hell at least get to eat off this cd. and then go back to making the dope shit we all expect from him

    7. good uplifting song, but lasers is just too mainstream, dissapointed in lupe, but I like lupe he one of my favs he got that rebel intelligence fighting the machine, to bad he cant bring that anger and emotion like pac.

    8. yall can call this uplifting, but i’m not feeling it. he couldn’t have written this, the rhymes are too simple for something Lupe puts his heart into. this was not a product of his genius mind. when i buy this album this will be one of the songs that won’t be played too often. yes it is a good song, but not Lupe Fiasco good.

    9. This was another one of the songs the label forced him to do. Atlantic had him by the balls and he really didnt have a choice. Lasers isnt his, it’s Atlantic’s album! Free Lupe and bring back the real shit!!!!

      1. this song is brilliant. if u lisen 2 lyrics u would realise that this is real lupe. its for his dad and the lyrics r emotional.

      2. How you gunna call this track not real with all do respect i don’t respect you for that and this is the real lupe on this track

      1. I bet 2pac’s “Until the end of Time” was “too pop” for you too. Get the fuck out with that shit. There’s nothing shameful about a feel good track.

    10. Listening to all of these songs that Atlantic forced Lu to make is tough for anyone that knows what this man is capable of. Listen to All Black Everything, Words I Never Said – that’s what Lasers could have and would have been…Atlantic should just go ahead and put their name on the record cuz it sure ain’t Lupe’s.

    11. Well we all know now this is not that typical Lupe album (if there s such thing).

But it is a good pop crossover album, far better than WAle’s or B.o.B’s.

I was mad at first, but there is a feel good sound to it that i m enjoying

      1. I love Lupe, and most of his stuff off lasers has been really good, but…this is not one of those songs. It’s CORNY. This shit is for white suburban teenagers. Give me some Raekwon and the rest of the clan anyday over this.

    12. its definately on point took me back to the days before my mom died and i think only lupe with a hook from legend could portray that great. atlantic or no atlantic it will be in my head for a while

    13. damn everyone bitching about ooo the lable made him do this and that just shut up and listen to great music its still better than 95% of the crap that is out now a days

      1. forreal, stfu. goat, really?
he’s dope don’t get me wrong, but i dont get why ppl just automatically hear one good song n label them as a goat

      2. my bad, i dont mean lupe has only ONE good song but what i’m trying to say is don’t label anyone as a GOAT

    14. listen to dumb it down it explains a lot [Chorus 1:]
You goin’ over niggas’ heads Lu (Dumb it down)
They tellin’ me that they don’t feel you (Dumb it down)
We ain’t graduate from school nigga (Dumb it down)
Them big words ain’t cool nigga (Dumb it down)
Yeah I heard Mean And Vicious nigga (Dumb it down)
Make a song for the bitches nigga (Dumb it down)
We don’t care about the weather nigga (Dumb it down)
You’ll sell more records if you (Dumb it down)
