Listen to “Yesterday” by Atmosphere – Similar piano chords for the track. Both tracks have that nostalgic feel to it except Atmosphere’s track is about his father who passed away and Weezy’s is more inspirational type of lyrics. Both good tracks but check out similarities in the chord progression.
Eminems the “me too” artist. Weezy new public enemy. For all he did in hip hop 06-08 too. I don’t like him as much now but I still have as much weezy songs that are great as I do nas songs.
I’ll admit Em had some corny punches on the new Bad Meets Evil EP, but he also had a lot of good ones. Weezy hasn’t had a good song since before I Am Not A Human Being, which was SHIT. 6’7″ is only good because of 1. the beat. 2. Cory Gunz. But I’ll admit Wayne’s delivery was nice on that song. THIS SONG on the other hand, has a SHIT first verse, a SHIT chorus, A SHIT beat, the only thing thats decent about this song is the second verse when he actually tries.
