    1. This album had a couple things wrong with it. One was the double songs on some of the tracks. I really like “Dying of thirst” but I gotta sit through “Sing about me” to listen to it? (Thats a good song too but sometimes Im not in the mood for it)

And this…the first minute of this song is fucking amazing..sounds too dope. He should have made a track out of it, add two verses, keep that sick ass chorus but NooOooo it had to end abruptly lol would have been a classic if he did that. I get it though, it’s all good I guess.

      1. Thanks! you just helped me nail what is wrong with this album…you have to sit and listen to it. Shouldn’t a hip hop album have some bangers, something to move the crowd? What is all this slow crap? And these songs are nothing groundbreaking. Go get a couple alternative rap albums and you’ll find songs like KLs. Albums you wouldn’t buy because backpackers were dropping them, now you all going ape eesh over because KL dropped it. He’s mostly on point lyrically, not knocking that, but I can’t listen to an entire rap album made up of slow songs. And with this song, I thought I was listening to an Andre 300 track.

      2. Honestly I only put the cd on with the intention of listening to like four songs (Bitch dont kill my vibe, Money Trees, Swimming P’s, and M.a.a.d city)

Section 80 > Good Kid (No Question)

    2. Classic track…. ‘mama called…..”what you doing”….kickin it. Should of told her I am about to catch my first offence with the homies’

    3. intro ruined it

      just another throw away

      and stop with the voices

we need pure kendrick lamar , the accents make it fake

    4. Kendrick, most overrated artist of the year. Every review was pretty much the same. All sheep. It’s like no one can form an opinion on their own. I’m not saying it was a bad album but it was far from perfect. Listened from start to finish and it just felt mediocre at times.

      1. This album was a rare gem for me. No need to skip any songs. I’m not a big fan of Section.80, but this is pure gem!

      2. Section 80?

Fuck Your Ethnicity? Hol’ Up? A.D.H.D? Ronald Reagan Era? Poe Man’s Dream? Spiteful Chant? Rigamortis? Kush and Corinthians? Come On B, This isn’t close to being as good as Section 80. Still good though lol
