No one has really freestyled in the last 12 or so years and it’s a shame because the art serves a purpose. Same thing with these fake battles. The whole battle circut is wack. At Scribble Jam they used to really free, but now its all prewriiten disses. Similarly Rees no rules in cyphers anymore so now anyone can just kick a written, cut someone off when their rhyming or just rhyme forever without any discernment about how allowing others to rhyme actually cultivates the energy.
