The album is dope for the most part. Too many love songs for me tho. This is one of the hardest on the album, actually.. The last 4 tracks or so are more like the Budden people are used to.
I think Joe is the best artist Eminem signed since 50 Cent, and his debut album No Love Lost will be this year’s Get Rich or Try Dying. Eminem needed a new Detroit group like Slaughterhouse after D12 died, and he picked the right rappers. They are all dope. I can’t wait to hear Em’s verses on Joe Biden’s album. Go buy it February 5th if you like real hip hop and want to keep it alive. Slaughterhouse are the best new rappers out, sorry Kendrick.
It ain’t budden’s debut, Joe Budden was his debut a decade or so ago, padded room a few years ago, countless mixtapes of LP quality and EP’s, dude stays busy. And slaughterhouse ain’t new either, all been around for years. I have more hope for their next album if one comes out, might be a better representation of what they’re capable of.
