    1. five stars! one thing Jay Z doesn’t do properly is pay respect to people l ike Jaz-O . for example. he talks about jaz-o in the book, but where’s a collab song? you’re never to big to be on a song with whomever put you on, jay. maybe jaz-o will end up rocnation but i doubt it

    2. Everybody from NY knows how nice Jaz-O is. I mean, he’s not just nice, he’s a pioneer. He was one of the first if not the first MC that was flipping lines with dual meanings and witty punchlines and shit. On top of that he’s a smart brotha that’s been through the peeks and valleys of rap and street life.

      1. Nigga you late

And your man stabbed Un and made you take the blame
You ass, went from Jaz to hanging with Caine, to Herb, to Big
And, Eminem murdered you on your own shit
You a dick-riding faggot, you love the attention
Queens niggas run you niggas, ask Russell Simmons

    3. A hell of a lot better than Jay would have done on this beat. But, I ain’t bringing him into this. This track is nice, real laid back n chill.

    4. Damn jaz o is one ugly muthafucka. This my first time ever seeing what he look like. That niggas nose is huge. He look like a old bum crack head.

    5. Just ave nothing special some of you guys are really lame on here. This shit is weak and ya’ll praise and hate on Jay-z crAZY!!

      1. Faggot bol swinging from jay’s nuts. BROOKLYN DON’T FUCK WITH JAY. JAZ O GOT HOOD RESPECT. THATS ALL THAT MATTERS, DON’T COME TO BROOKLYN TALKING THAT….CRRRRACK!!!! BITCHASS NIGGA.

    6. I DON’T CARE IF IT’S OLD, IT SOUNDS LIKE HE JUST LEFT THE STUDIO WITH IT. TIMELESS!! NOW IF HIS NEW MATERIAL IS ON THIS LEVEL OR BETTER HE COULD WIN WITH THE RIGHT MACHINE BEHIND HIM.. HE DESERVES TO WIN IN THIS NEW MUSIC ERA.

    7. dat nigga jaz o be goin in..now everytime i hear the nigga..he’s better than jay all day.now the last time i heard from jaz music, was last year wit the nigga game. game went in,but when the originator got on the mic.game should’nt touch it after that.then jaz threw some more jabs at jay..and yall king didn’t respond as usual!

    8. 2pac wasnt overrated, he was bigger than a mc, if it wasnt for pac, alot of niggas would be dead, listen to his actual catalog, nigga tought respect, gave beef tips, love ur family, read books, i could go on forever, if u get a chanve download the tupac dvd-1998 called THUG IMMORTAL.

    9. Talent can be copied but never matched. I definitely need some adult music in my life. Congrats Jaz.

Now if you could do a track with Young Chris and name it “Training Wheels” that would be swell.

      5 stars *****

    10. If you think Pac is overrated, it’s ’cause you’ve never been through grown man shit. One day your punk ass is gonna be down and out, and a Pac song will come on, and it’ll dawn on you why his music meant so much to people.

    11. Old song that’s still pretty funky.

      Jaz was before Jay.

Sad what Jay has chosen and what he’s become. He could have carried all of the pure hip hop to the forefront…

We all know what side Jay chose.

Funny thing about Jay is that he always spits Big’s lines and preaches he was down for the same cause as Big…but he wasn’t. Big was grimy as all get out and making hip hop grime radio friendly. Hypnotize was one of the grimiest records ever…but no one seems to realize it. F****’ You Tonight. Grimy. Nasty Boy. Grimey.

Oh well. And all wonder why Jay chooses to always harp on his earnings, over marketing, and business dealings more than anything else.

      1. Jay was never the same kind of MC as Big though. Jay’s style always had an emphasis on wit, complex flows, intricate patterns, and double entendres and shit. Big’s style was more story telling, sense of humor, smooth flow, more of a traditional “fun” MC, if you will.

I agree that Jay-Z talks too much about his accomplishments and his money, but he ALWAYS did. People act like his content has changed since Reasonable Doubt. It really hasn’t. If anything, Jay is more thoughtful now then he was back then. You can’t find a song on Reasonable Doubt that doesn’t have something to do with drug dealing and money. At least now Jay sprinkles in a little content.
Overall, I can’t help but to defend Jay because I just feel that he is still a very dope MC in all senses of the word. I’m 30. I been listenin’ to Hip-Hop since before the word ‘hip-hop’ was a mainstream term. I’ve seen many trends and many rappers come and go, and say what you want about Jay’s character, but as far as MCing, he’s one of the best to ever do it. His career has been pretty impressive when you think about it.

    12. This track is dope, now if nigga can forget about Jay z and put a complet album, it will be good because the nigga can mos def flow
