    1. he makes fayetteville sound so much worse than it actually is, haha. definitely owns ye’s version, by far.

    2. YEAH COLE IS KILLIN THA GAME RIGHT NOW!..THIS SHOULDA BEEN HIS TRACK 4 HIS ALBUM!..HIM & JAY-Z ON THIS..CLASSIC TRACK

    3. Yessss… this is definitely better than Kanye’s version…even though i still fuck with kanye version….J. Cole is the future

    4. i’m sooo mad Jay hasnt helped cole get more promotion Cole should have the Radio/commercial promotion Drake had i can tell J’s LP is gonna be beter than TML

    5. Str8 fiyah!!!!! I wish this boy would at least get a bit of success when his album drops. But I guess this dumb ass generation will pull a “Distant Relatives” on his ass. Too bad.

    6. J. Cole is way way better than Cudi and Drake he just don’t have the exposure they do. Jay doesn’t promote nobody Memphis Bleek been with him for years and still hasn’t done anything. Kanye did it by himself Jay didn’t really help and Kanye backed Cudi and got him out there. He need to get with J. or he gonna fade out and make two songs a year like Bleek. Jay worries about him, B, and his business ventures. F his artist he gettin paid

    7. The most respect goes to him saying that there will never be another Illmatic. Cole is always spitting some real shit.

P.s. will you people please stop mentioning drake whenever a cole song drops. they both are nice why the fuck do ya’ll try to compare then everytime that shit is corny at this point

    8. J Cole could take a shit and you guys would say it sounds good, it’s not better than a 3, but just go ahead and keep giving it 5s cause your on the bandwagon

    9. Im fuckin lovin this! I’m seeing a shift in hip-hop… J Cole, J Elect, Lupe, shit even Drake are putting out good quality music. If Shady does end up signing Slaughterhouse thats gona be the spark that truly changes shit on a mainstream level. J Cole a beast, keep doin ya thang!!

      1. You’re out of you mind. Music is supposed to come from the soul. You walk around listening to that music with no feeling, and thats why most cats can’t feel what you say.

    10. IT CAN NEVER BE ENOUGH SOUL MUSIC BLAT BLAT…YOU MUST BE A YOUNGIN TO SAY THAT SHIT. BUT THIS IS ACTUALLY ONE OF THE BEST IVE HEARD FROM JCOLE. I NEVER LIKED THAT NIGGA THAT MUCH BUT THIS IS MAKIN ME FEEL HIM A LIL MORE NOW….HE MIGHT ACTUALLY B SOMETHING IF HE COMES WITH THE LYRICS AND DELIVERY LIKE THIS…AND LOOKIN FOR SOME CHEESE ON SOME MOUSE SHIT??? IS THAT A JOE BUDDEN JAB??? HMMMMMM……

    11. YO IF YOU LIKE J COLE YOU WOULD LIKE MY NEW ARTIST DUCE RIVAS

HE DOESNT WEAR TIGHT JEANS AND DOESNT RAP ABOUT SWAG AND DUMBSHIT.

HE A BEER DRINKIN PILL POPPIN BLUNT SMOKIN SPIC THAT DOESNT GIVE A FUCK.

GIVE IT A THUMBS UP OR THUMBS DOWN BUT KEEP IT REAL DONT HATE JUST CUZ HE CAN RAP BETTER THEN YOU AND YOUR CUSIN.

      REAL TALK!!

    12. THIS SHIT MURDERS ANYTHING DRAKE EVER PUT OUT…AND PEEP THE JEWISH HOME SUBLIMINAL…LOL DRAKE IS COOL BUT IF YOU THINK FOR A MINUTE THAT DRAKE IS FUCKING WIT THIS DUDE, DO US A FAVOR AND GO PLAXICO YOURSELF…

    13. J.Cole did his thing as usual, his version was even stronger than Kanye’s….for me, j.Cole is the guy who has me excited by hip hop right now, and of course jay electronica when he comes our of his black hole to bless us once in a while, and the likes of blu, fashawn, etc…

    14. Theres only 1 dude I can think of that I think is hotter right now, lupe fiasco.

how about a fiasco/cole collabo album! LOL

    15. ” You hated before you played it, I already forgave ya ” – He just ethered every naysayer about this song haha

    16. Damnnn….each song this man drops just makes it more and more obvious who the better rapper is. good thing I can still get this RnB money

and I still got acting. Degrassi, all the way from!

      Young Money!!!

      1. u know, if this really IS drake…. then i think u need 2 step ur lyrical game up….. i mean, i USED 2 REEEEAAAALLLY dislike u. however, i went back, listened the everything n ur archives, started 2 realize u never on sum ol fake ass wanna b gangsta shit… nice. i can respect that. alotta the shit b hella deep. so, i stopped dislikin. started appreciatin…however, step ur LYRICAL GAME up…. not that ur a dud… but u CAN afford 2 get ELZHI with it.

      1. Your High… Cole is dope,But Lupe is untouchable… His lyrics are light years ahead of anyone right now… Even Fag-inem

      2. lol How can you say lupe’s lyrics are light years ahead of anyone RIGHT NOW. When his last cd came out 3 years ago lol. Wow I mean I loved lupe..but when I go three years with barely any music from you, I lose respect. I mean at least Eminem kept putting out music even when he was going through drug abuse and everything. Lupe did the 50 cent. Got Rich and Stopped Trying

    17. My favorite artist right now besides LUPE AND BANKS….only cats really holdin the pen down right now. (And them SH boys…)

      1. um..i’m sorry…lupe cannot be in any rap discussions…i was a big lupe fan…but when your last cd came out like 3 years ago and since then all i’ve heard is like one mixtape and like 3 or 4 songs.you are not allowed to be mentioned.no music=no love.

      2. u a hating ass nigga koolayde. that sound like some bandwagon shit “i’m gunna like whoever put out the most material” that what killed the game. overpopulation and dollar signs. lupe did it right, dropped aLL those mixtapee, got on, established his name, and now takes 3 years 2 put shit out cuz its going to sell. so maybe hes selling or jus getting lazy either way dont hate the player hate the game

      1. obviously a momma joke was going to come out of your dumb ass mouth, you just got no brains man thats why you cant feel j cole’s shit.

    18. low key he came at drake HARD on this. in an interview, drake said j cole is like the new nas..

now listen to the lyrics again. peep the line about nas, illmatic, and the ville. then peep the line about talking shit and growing up in a jewish line. even though he say pardon the stereotype, we all know drake grew up in a jewish home. lol, might be me, but umm.. yeah, i peeped the subliminal.

      ANYWHO,

CHECK ME OUT. I PROMISE GREAT MUSIC. IT’S A PROMISE.

    19. J. Cole adheres to the standard that any successful hip-hop artist should be trying to hit. I’m a big fan of his but one of the reasons he’s shining so bright (lightsaber) is cos the majority of hip-hop artists, those in the limelight especially, don’t drop quality music for the sake of good music anymore. It’s just bullshit everywhere and they happy to do that cos they still getting payed. Get back to the fucking music.

      5/5 for this, was dope.

    20. Can’t wait for the mixtape and the album. Cole is an amazing talent. He says it all, ill lyrics, nice hooks, and killer beats!

    21. Name a fuckings song i didn’t threw upon/ talk is cheap is like ya’ll grew up in a jewish home/ Pardon the stereotype, but ya’ll giving me mixed feelings like a married a white/ woman. SICK!

    32. “Rappers took a vacation, i came over to house sit.. u want change dis dat between the seats of ya couch shit” Who da fuck want it wit hollywood cole?

    33. this shit go hard, but why this nigga keep sneak dissn drizzy. Low key though alot of people think will get killed lyrically by this nigga if they were to beef, but dont sleep on drake i think he would give cole a run for his money. that beef would be good for the game.

      1. What?! I don’t think so….If it came down to the battle, freestyle, or even lyrics, I would give it hands down to J.Cole….Drake can do some hooks and harmonize and can pen some romantic songs. I’m not saying Drake cant rap but I just see too much of this stylized rap in which he talks about the same shit: Money, Hoes and Clothes. At least Drake admits that it is his main subject matter and i commend him for being honest…But yeah J.Cole will definitely murk Drake lol

      2. yall r stupid u obviously dont listen to enough music j cole nd drake rap about two completely diff things nd got diff styles u cnt compare the two they both are ill in their own right but honestly drake would give j cole a run for his money the nigga can hold his own in a beef listen to GOOD RIDDANCE

      3. @dnice32 how are going to say we are stupid by trying to compare both of them but you obviously think drake is better?! Wtf?! lol I mean we all here got our preferences but I mean hey if you like drake then good for you but for all the real hip hop lovers, J.Cole obviously is carrying the tradition and is cut from a different cloth for real…just peep J.Cole’s whole MUSIC! lol I think Drake is aight and i’m not hatin its just that i’m not with that shit that has already been said before….

    34. cole has just about become my favorite rapper. listen to “Can I Live” “Lights Please” “Grown Simba” “It Won’t Be Long” and try to tell me he wont be great.

      1. Oooo man if u think those good; listen to: Dead Presidents, Dreams, and WELCOME. those 3 will make u never want to listen to another rapper again bruhh

      1. iiitttee my nigga j cole getting his haters keep hating please it’ll only motivate him so sit on your computers and do your jobs haters

      2. WOOOW. u must not knoo music if u thinkk this guy suks. Drake? Lil Wayne? how dare u put them in tha same catagory as J.COLE. His music is….. BEYOND discription and more harder thenn any rapper out ritee now. talented duude

    35. Maybe if he spit on some real production (Pete Rock, Buckwild, Just Blaze or Lord Finesse) than I would enjoy him more but that track w/ Jay-Z was wack as fuck to me!

    36. “It’s a feeling in the air, u abouta drop a real classic,
he said “Cole, a lil birdy told me on the low u got a illmatic”

So true…..Cop the album when comes out

    38. HOW CAN ANYONE HATE ON JCOLE?????????????

      GO KILL URSELF.

J COLE IS THE TRUTH! REAL TALK
      REAL HIP HOP!

U CAN REALLY FEEL HIS MUSIC.

i dont understand how u can hate on him?
      just dont understand it……

    39. comin from someone who loves music for all of it inventive rights. I like Drake and J. Cole. but honestly seems like J. Cole is more gifted lyrically than Drake, different producers, produce, different artists for the media to decide the top and stars.

this song is one of them kick back and just vibe, freestyle on it if u will. talented dude right here.

    40. Cole is a VERY refreshing breath of air of hip-hip. Keep all of his mixtapes on repeat, can’t wait for the album. I feel he has the potential to be the best, and I believe he knows it.

Already addressed the haters : “One minute I’m overrated next minute I’m the saviour, you hated before you played I already forgave ya.” & “Old bitter sit around in middle class homes with computers on hating on the newest songs.” In my opinion, Cole is one of those rappers to take the torch and continue TRUE hip-hop music. Just know I’m puttin people on to Cole, and his album will be one of the few I’ve bought in a while.

    41. i hate to say this, but this may cause a debate. i think j. cole might be better then drake lyrically. he just smash this beat. it like saying drake is the jay of our time ,cole is the nas of this time. we all know nas is way more lyrically then jay(but not by far)its that jay apeals to the world more then nas. think about it,its crazy ha! but what yall think?

      1. Maybe? Did you hear drake’s album? Drake lyrically isn’t that great, he had a few mixtapes then he sold out. As of now he’s akon, the guy you want on the hook but not to hear his album. J.Cole can put out classic shit.

      2. I DONT KNOW ABOUT ALL THAT J AN NAS TALK, BUT I THINK 22s GOT IT IN A NUTSHELL DRAKES NICE WITH HOOKS COLES NICE WITH THE BARS. MABYE A CALBO ALBUM OR MIXTAPE WOULDNT BE TWO CORNY! MABYE….

      3. I feel where your coming from, but the comparison really only works from an appeal standpoint and not so much lyrically. I say this because while it’s completely acceptable to compare Nas to a young Nas/Jay it really isn’t at all the same with Drake. We’re talking lyrically here. Drake can’t cut it, he’s nice on hooks and can definitely drop some attractive verses but that’s where his capabilities stop. He may improve and grow in a few years, but his album suggests that we’ve probably seen all that Drake has to offer, which is a shame.
Cole on the other hand, hasn’t dropped his debut, and I i can feel a classic on it’s way.

    42. Can someone tell J. Cole to get off these female beats? He sounded like a natural on Dead Presidents, get him on some shit like that. This Little Brother shit is killing me.

    44. Cant wait til this dude cd drops def getting haha i heard a couple tracks i think rick fouche did a a beat for him

    45. This is that dope shit right here that puts my faith back in hip hop, J-Cole is one of the few MC’s right now that i can say that is putting out great music with substance instead of that same ignorant bullshit you hear everyday. J-Cole’s definitely a dope producer as well as an MC. I have a feeling he’s gonna put out a dope classic album if he continues staying on point with the dope beats and dope ryhmes without selling out.
