It’s not necessarily about making anything “new”. His Hip Hop is pure, and has the ability to be timeless. The problem with the new shit is that most of it’s faddish, meaning it may be hot today but this time next year it’ll be forgotten. Just ask D4L, DFB, Yung Joc, MIMS, J-Kwon etc. All there shit was allegedly new and poppin at one point. Cole’s music will be around a long time and will continue to improve along the way.
Cole is one of the hottest niggas in the game right now without a doubt..mad respect to dude…but i would love to see him switch it up a bit…there was a lot of diversity in both the come up and the warm up…i just hopes he gives us the same quality come October…
