After leaving a full-ride scholarship at the Univerity of Iowa, Ajani Jones decided that contributing to the culture of hip hop was something he had more interest in. Signed to Closed Sessions, the 24-year-old Chicago rapper is about to drop his EP ONE PUNCH with producer BoatHouse.
Listening to Ajani’s music, one can tell how dedicated he is to his craft, and how he expects only the best from himself and his art. His flow is pristine and the production from the former Closed Sessions intern BoatHouse creates a piece of work that demands consecutive listens. One can only imagine what his EP has in store.
