HOLY FUCK. HOOOLY FUUCK. This track is on fire. LITERALLY, fire ass single, no hook, no chorus, sounds like a more vintage, raw logic, I enjoy how he points out the fact that he doesn’t need to flex for attention and it seems to me that this is kind of a follow-up to the criticism he received for his everybody album. AMAZING track, 5/5
Well, considering you didn’t post a follow-up comment you either A: didn’t even listen to it because that’s the world we live in (it’s cool to just hate ppl and everything they do without giving it a chance) or B: you have nothing to say because he did well with this track. Not a 5/5 but it’s a solid track with good lines.
Considering that was a rhetorical meant to generate discussion, as evidenced by the fact that I didn’t follow up, and that my moniker is “Popcorn Ready,” as in I’ll sit back and watch Logic fans rage at my comment, both of your assumptions are wildly off and completely misses the point lol. Admittedly, I didn’t generate much discussion mean either A: Logic has no fans because that’s the world we live in, or B: people have nothing to say because he did bite. See what I did there? Admittedly, it didn’t generate as much discussion as I hoped, except by one throwaway by Logic himself (jk). But to follow-up on myself as you requested, he bit Future’s song “Zoom” and there’s definitely elements of Big Sean in his delivery. Not as egregious as when he stole wholesale from Kendrick, Oddisee, or Travis Scott, but it continues the trend of Logic imitating bigger and/or better artists immediately after they drop something hot.
Actual a quality track. This artist has every right to voice his determination and strive to continue forward. Admittedly, I slept on his early work. Now he’s convinced me of his talent and unique contribution to the culture.
